Nancy Pelosi is a piece of work.
She has to be in order to look the way she does when she’s in her seventies.
Not that I’m saying she looks good… because she doesn’t. She just looks like she’s a seventy-plus-year-old woman trying desperately not to look like a seventy-plus-year-old woman through expensive – and self-centered – botox procedures.
But I didn’t bring her up just to mock her looks, even if she does make it way too easy to do just that. I brought her up because of the latest idiotic statement she made.
Remember, this is the woman who says really stupid stuff like “We have to pass the [healthcare] bill in order to find out what is in it” and “The fact is that elections shouldn’t matter as much as they do.”
Not surprisingly, the superficial creature proved once again that she isn’t fit for public office – or public anything, really – by declaring that she is “almost to busy to continue listening to some of the things that are going on in that room.”
“That room” just happens to be where prominent Republicans and President Obama’s closest minions are discussing the debt limit, taxes, government spending and the future of America as a nation.
Ummm… Isn’t that her job? Working out issues like these?
I do understand that maintaining her farcical “forever young” California look probably takes a lot of time, money and makeup, but she really needs to start acting as if there’s more to life than merely costly cosmetic procedures and taxpayer paid jaunts on military aircraft… like, I don’t know, her job?
Novel idea, I know.
