Did you know that the U.S. economy didn’t really grow 1.7% in the second quarter like we were originally told? As with so many other official estimates and analyses, the numbers didn’t really pan out the way they were first touted to be. Now we’re being told that economic growth really only rose 1.3%, “as farm production in the Midwest was reduced by a severe drought.”
Nothing to do with President Obama’s incredibly irresponsible leadership, of course. Nor can it possibly have anything to do with his administration’s deliberate and repeated attempts to rewrite facts in their favor. Like with Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius’ continuing disregard for federal campaign laws that prevent her from touting her boss on the public dime, integrity is only demanded of Republicans.
Did you know that 55% of small business owners don’t think the current political environment is at all conducive to starting a new company? Jay Timmons, president of the National Association of Manufacturers explains that “There is far too much uncertainty, too many burdensome regulations and too few policymakers willing to put aside their egos and fulfill their responsibilities to the America people.”
Did you know that President Obama and his cronies don’t want to put their egos aside? They’re perfectly content to force their will on everything from public school children’s eating choices to when waiting passengers can and cannot walk in airports… after they’ve cleared security.
Did you know that brain-dead celebrities like desperate-to-be-young-again Madonna think that they actually have something intelligent to contribute to the political discussion? (Then again, maybe they do considering Madonna’s stupid slip-up in referring to Obama as “Muslim,” which he certainly came across as during his latest United Nations speech). Did you know that other Obama supporters like Mona Eltahawy, a self-described “liberal Muslim,” consider it “freedom of expression” to graffiti privately-paid signs in public places if they don’t like them?
Did you know that the kind of education system we have – the one that produces idiots like the three just mentioned – is prompting children to treat each other so badly that more and more of them are turning to suicide, like 13-year-old Cade Poulos?
And finally, one last question: Did you know that life doesn’t have to be this difficult?
