Billboard Captures Boston Marathon Bombers Dead-On

As I write this, the Boston Marathon bombing story is still unfolding in dramatic detail, with large parts of the city shut down altogether.

One suspect, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26, is dead. His brother, 19-year-old Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, may or may not be. It would seem that he’s pinned down by the cops regardless.

There are reports that the brothers are from Chechnya and reports that they’re from Russia and reports that they’re Islamic and evil and well-mannered and scholarship-receiving… and on and on the stories go depending on the minute and the news source.

These newspapers and websites and magazines are just speculating of course, some better than others. And we’ll find out the real details going forward into the next few days and weeks.

But one thing that was very obvious about the bombers from the very first blast is summed up on a billboard off of I-93 in Boston.

I very rarely find myself agreeing with unions, but I have to hand it to this one since it captured the perpetrators so perfectly.

These men, whatever else they turn out to be, are cowards.

Disgusting, despicable, downright loathsome cowards.

For now, I’m fine with that description alone.
