When was the last time we heard about a white, even remotely right-wing American setting off bombs specifically designed to blow innocent bystanders to literal bits?
Seriously. Was it Timothy McVeigh back in 1995?
Quite possibly, since it wasn’t Jared Lee Loughner in 2011, who didn’t use a bomb and was a satan-worshipping leftist. Nor was it James Holmes in 2012. Again, no bomb and he didn’t seem to have any political motivation whatsoever. He was just a generally repulsive individual.
Which leaves us with Timothy McVeigh in 1995. 18 years ago. So he’s hardly a logical all-encompassing example of how dangerous even-remotely right wing Americans can be.
But since when has the left been logical?
Good point? Yeah, I thought so too. And the following irrational comments by media members, Hollywood actors and politicians (in a long line of such) proves it even further in the wake of he Boston Marathon bombing…
Nationally syndicated newspaper columnist, magazine journalist and best-selling author David Sirota lost no time jumping on the leftist logic-less bandwagon with a Salon article expressing his “hope” that “the Boston Marathon bomber is a white American.” Because otherwise we might be mean to Muslims… who seem to have no problem being mean to us, incidentally.
Incidentally, Sirota’s article featured a picture of Timothy McVeigh and Osama bin Laden, the first whom he laments was treated as an individual while the second was treated as a group.
Considering that McVeigh was an individual and Osama was part of a group, that makes for exceptionally stupid comment number two out of an article filled with really stupid comments.
Not wanting to be outdone, the drug-damaged space cadets in Hollywood took to their platforms as well, including actor and comedian Jay Mohr, who tweeted Monday night:
“What bothers me most about today is that we’re getting used 2 it. ENOUGH. 2nd amendment must go. Violence has 2 stop. Culture MUST change.”
If you’re confused about how revoking the Second Amendment would have altered the Boston Marathon’s tragic outcome, join the logical club. The same goes for wondering if Mohr knows the violent garbage his entire industry disseminates on a daily basis.
Just as insane and about fifty times more heartless was former Massachusetts Congressman Barney Frank, who used the bombing as a platform to show an equally opportunistic CNN that government spending is a good thing.
“I never was as a member of Congress one of the cheerleaders for less government, lower taxes. No tax cut would have helped us deal with this or will help us recover. This is very expensive.”
What Frank failed to point out was how no tax raise kept it from happening in the first place.
Rather in the same way he neglected to consider how people were dead, dying and damaged before he started spouting his unforgivable lack of logic.
