President Obama’s America Is Still Badly Worse Off Than It Was Five Years Ago

“Americans have rebuilt less than half of wealth lost to the recession, study says”

So reads a Washington Post headline, followed by the article’s opening paragraphs:

“American households have rebuilt less than half of the wealth lost during the recession, leaving them without the spending power to fuel a robust economic recovery, according to a new analysis from the Federal Reserve.

“From the peak of the boom to the bottom of the bust, households watched a total $16 trillion in wealth disappear amid sinking stock prices and the rubble of the real estate market. Since then, Americans have only been able to recapture 45 percent of that amount on average, after adjusting for inflation and population growth, according to the report from the St. Louis Fed released Thursday.

“In addition, the report showed most of the improvement was due to gains in the stock market, which primarily benefit wealthy families. That means the recovery for other households has been even weaker.”

“‘A conclusion that the financial damage of the crisis and recession largely has been repaired is not justified,’ the report stated.”

I could add a mere few words to sum that all up, but I’ll try to keep it classy.

This is President Obama’s America. Make no mistake of it.

A country as strong as the United States – which has ultimately emerged triumphant from revolutions and civil war and foreign invasions, depressions and recessions – doesn’t need five years to recover from a market downturn, even one as severe as the 2008-2009 crash.

It needs some serious assistance in order to stay poor and needy, assistance that Obama and his liberal-leaning crew (including Republicans too often) have been more than happy to dole out in the form of regulations and spending and manipulation and backstabbing.

Obama’s plan of passing around handouts to Americans like we’re helpless little children, of slapping us with rule after rule after business-crippling decree like we can’t figure things out on our own, and of lying to us – about Obamacare, about Fast and Furious, about Benghazi, about the IRS, about wiretapping, etc., etc., ad nauseam – like we don’t deserve any respect...?

I think after four-plus years, it seems safe to say that it isn’t working out.

Judging by the results all around us and reports like the Federal Reserve’s mentioned above, it seems high time we got a different plan.

President Obama Shows up to White House Reception With Lipstick Mark on Collar

President Obama is making the news today, not for addressing the conservative organization-targeting IRS scandal or the associated press-targeting Department of Justice scandal or the Benghazi botch-up and cover-up scandal… but for the lipstick mark on his buttoned-up collar at the White House reception for Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage month.

Here’s the transcript of his opening lines:

“Thank you so much. Aloha! Welcome to the White House everybody… I want to thank everybody who is here. The incredible warmth of the reception. A sign of the warmth is the lipstick on my collar. I have to say I think I know the culprit. Where’s Jessica Sanchez.

“No, it wasn’t Jessica; it was her aunt. Where is she?

“Right there. Auntie, right there. Look at this. Look at this. I just want everybody to witness. So I do not want to be in trouble with Michelle. That’s why I’m calling you out. Right in front of everybody.”

Hysterical, right? Our President is such a comedic genius the way he originally implies that a 17-year-old girl left lipstick stains on his collar and then pins the blame on her aunt instead.

Somebody stop us before we all die laughing.

A Thought or Two From F. A. Hayek About What We’re Doing and Where We’re Headed

During WWII, economist F. A. Hayek wrote a particularly striking passage in his historical, political and societal commentary, The Road to Serfdom:

“As the rules of conduct evolved by individuals are the source from which collective political action derives what moral standards it possesses, it would indeed be surprising if the relaxation of the standards of individual conduct were accompanied by a raised of the standards of social action. That there have been great changes is clear. Every generation, of course, puts some values higher and some lower than its predecessors. Which, however, are the aims which take a lower place now, which are the values which we are now warned may have to give way if they come into conflict with others? Which kind of values figure less prominently in the picture of the future held out to us by the popular writers and speakers than they did in the dreams and hopes of our fathers?”

Let me translate:

Since politics evolve from society’s moral trends and decisions, it seems unlikely that we can look forward to any positive future policies when we’re working so hard to discourage personal responsibility in the present. Changes happen all the time from generation to generation, some positive and some negative. And it’s obvious that we have changed significantly in the last few decades. But what goals do we value more today, and what are we told we’ll need to sacrifice to obtain heaven on earth? What standards do our writers and speakers press repeatedly compared to what our fathers held up as good and just?

Hayek asked all of that because he saw England and America dangerously following in the socialized pathway that led Germany into Nazism, Italy into fascism and Russia into communism. He wanted to raise awareness, to warn people off, before they made those same mistakes with the same disgusting results.

70 years later, we need to be asking ourselves those same questions again, because there’s one very obvious answer out there… that we’re not doing ourselves any favors.

It’s a scary conclusion. Then again, we’re living in some seriously scary times.

And if we don’t wake up and recognize the stinking obvious truth, it’s only going to get worse from here.

President Obama Says Some Nice Things About Military on Memorial Day

President Obama had some very nice things to say about our military men and women on Saturday. Looking ahead to Memorial Day, he noted that members of our armed forces, “who have given their lives in service to this country we love… are heroes, each and every one.

“They gave America the most precious thing they had – ‘the last full measure of devotion.’ And because they did, we are who we are today – a free and prosperous nation, the greatest in the world. At a time when only about one percent of the American people bear the burden of our defense, the service and sacrifice of our men and women in uniform isn’t always readily apparent. That’s partly because our soldiers, sailors, airmen, Marines and coast guardsmen are so skilled at what they do. It’s also because those who serve tend to do so quietly. They don’t seek the limelight. They don’t serve for our admiration, or even our gratitude. They risk their lives, and many give their lives, for something larger than themselves or any of us: the ideals of liberty and justice that make America a beacon of hope for the world.”

Those are beautiful, beautiful words… spoken by an absolute liar who doesn’t care one whit about the men and women he’s talking about. Or to, for that matter.

It shows too when he’s not trying to kiss up to the camera.

Last year, the Pentagon estimates there were 26,000 cases of sexual abuse in the military, which is a 35% increase over 2010. And while I don’t condone any of those actual examples of cretinism, I do believe it’s important to note how little respect the military has gotten under President Obama.

This is the man who accepted the presidency in November 2012 after willfully ignoring thousands of military voices, whose absentee ballots went missing or were never recorded in the first place due to government mishandling. As I remember, the same was true in 2008.

This is the man who plans to raise U.S. funding for the United Nations next year by $3.6 billion while simultaneously cutting military capital by $10 billion. Now I know that we waste tons of money in the military as everywhere else in government… but why would Obama slash the one and further finance the other?

Yeah. I didn’t think there was a decent reason either.

So it should come as no surprise that this is also the man that presided over the retraction of college tuition assistance in the military this year while fighting to give education benefits to illegal immigrants. It’s also important to mention how our war rules of conduct have been drastically changed to favor the enemy and put our troops in danger.

In other words, the military isn’t getting much respect these days. Our service men and women are getting turned aside like so many pieces of trash. So it shouldn’t be much of a surprise if they’re acting like garbage as a result.

Josephine County 9-1-1 Dispatcher Tells Woman to Ask Assaulting Ex-Boyfriend “to Go Away”

Imagine this…

You have an abusive ex-boyfriend who isn’t ready to let go yet. He already attacked you once a few weeks ago, leaving you beaten badly enough that you had to be hospitalized. And now he’s back again trying to break into your apartment.

So you call 9-1-1 like any competent adult, terrified though you are. And this is what you hear the dispatcher say:

“Uh, I don’t have anybody to send out there. You know, obviously, if he comes inside the residence and assaults you, can you ask him to go away?”

The 9-1-1 dispatcher explains that your town, Josephine County, cut 23 deputies and its entire major crimes unit due to budget cuts and the fact that it failed to obtain a multi-million dollar federal subsidy. So the emergency phone call has to be sent to Oregon State Police instead, who are located too far away to prevent your abusive ex-boyfriend from spending the next ten minutes trying to break into your house… then successfully breaking into your house… then choking you and sexually assaulting you.

In the state’s defense, they did later apprehend the guy. Meanwhile, how does Josephine County Sheriff Gil Gilberson respond?

With a comment just as stupid as the 9-1-1 dispatcher: “There isn’t a day that goes by that we don’t have another victim. If you don’t pay the bill, you don’t get the service.”

The department also added that domestic violence victims should “consider relocating to an area with adequate law enforcement services.”

So let’s get this straight…

·         Current county taxes aren’t sufficient to “pay the bill.”
·         The local government isn’t good for anything and the state government not good for much.
·         Some county 9-1-1 dispatcher is getting paid to be pretty much useless.
·         Some county sheriff is getting paid to make utterly heartless, narrow-viewed comments.

Feel free to tell me if I’m wrong then in concluding that Josephine County needs to rethink something.

Or just think at all.

Give ‘Em Equality! New Military Report Shows Increasing Homosexual Sexual Assaults

The various underprivileged, non-white or non-male or non-straight minority groups need to learn the true meaning of equality.

Equality is a good thing, obviously. It means equal pay for equal work. It includes the right to try out what everybody else is trying out and to pursue it or give it up in the same way others can. It allows people a much wider sphere of choices and options to get where they want to be.

But here’s another obvious characteristic of equality: it’s difficult. It’s usually worth fighting for, but it’s not all fun and games. It involves an enormous amount of responsibility and consequences.

So here’s a note to the homosexual community: you want equality in the military, with legal permission to wear the uniform… then acknowledge when you’ve broken the rules the uniform automatically entails… just like everybody else has to.

For example, every few months, we get a news story somewhere about how dangerous the military can be for women to navigate: how sexual harassment and rape happen all the time and how disgustingly misogynistic the stereotypical, male, he-man soldier really is.

Well now we have a news story along those same lines but with a twist, though you’ll be hard-pressed to find it anywhere. The account shows elevated numbers of male-on-male sexual assaults, which means the perpetrators are homosexuals or bisexuals.

WND reports that “The Defense Department survey of sexual assault in the military during fiscal 2012 estimated 26,000 assaults took place in the armed forced. Nearly 3,000 of them were formally reported. Just more than 6 percent of women reported being victims of assault and 1.2 percent of men said the same. Given the much larger number of men in the military, those numbers suggest 14,000 of the assaults in the Pentagon study happened to men.”

Now here’s the deal… Homosexuals got their wish: they can come out and stay out of the closet while retaining their dog tags. That’s the equality they asked for.

So equality they should get.

This means that, just as when heterosexual soldiers act like cretins, there should be some national outrage expressed. There should be demands for action. And probably extensive courses designed to show these homosexual or bisexual soldiers how they need to treat heterosexual soldiers with respect, allowing them their orientation without threat of physical or sexual harm.

That’s what equality demands. You get the good side but you have to suffer the bad side as well. There’s no picking and choosing, eating desert but not your vegetables, under equality.

Otherwise, it’s not equality at all. It’s preferential treatment, which means that somebody else is being treated unfairly.

The Headlines Say It All

Here are some headlines and intros to consider…

“At a Tea Party protest outside an IRS building in St. Louis yesterday there were no regular police – only armed Homeland Security guards. Video footage from the demonstration at which protesters… chanted ‘no more harassment’ shows numerous DHS Federal Protective Service vehicles along with several armed DHS guards. There is not a regular police offer in sight… Homeland Security agents also kept a watchful eye on a Tea Party rally in Florida.”

Fox News’ Bret Baier reports that Department of Justice documents show that [Fox News journalist] James Rosen’s parents’ home phone records were seized in an investigation into Rosen’s reporting activity.”

“The list of keynote commencement speakers at Ivy League institutions for 2013 does not include a single conservative, a recent study authored by the conservative Young America’s Foundation (YAF) found. Instead seven of the elite schools opted to invite ideaological liberal speakers such as media billionaire Oprah Winfrey, Vice President Joe Biden (D), Newark Mayor Cory Booker (D), Mayor Michael Bloomberg (I), among others. Only Brown University, which chooses a commencement keynote from among its students, did not have a 2013 speaker who is generally associated with the left.”

I’d say something about there being a political and ideological war on conservatives… but that would probably just sound redundant.

Liberal Comedian Lizz Winstead Tweets Jokes About Oklahoma Tornado

When is a natural disaster – like the Oklahoma tornado that killed 91 people, injured hundreds more and caused who-knows-how-much in damage – a laughing matter?

When it targets conservatives or conservative-leaning locations or conservative-stereotyped areas. If you ask a liberal, I mean.

Liberal comedian Lizz Winstead, a co-creator and former head writer of The Daily Show, took to Twitter yesterday to joke around about the ongoing IRS scandal (in which the agency deliberately targeted conservative organization during the 2012 elections) and the tornado.

She tweeted: “This tornado is in Oklahoma, so clearly it has been ordered to only target conservatives” and also “How long has Obama known about this Tornado?”

Now in her defense, that’s hardly the most vitriolic statement to come out of a liberal’s mouth. Nor did she know just how bad the damage was at that point. She has since apologized profusely and, I really believe, sincerely.

I’ll accept that apology without question, but I still have to point out the bewldering lack of thought behind the original tweets.

When I hear about a tornado sweeping through – say – a liberal state, my first inclination isn’t to joke about it. I usually wonder how much damage was done and sympathize with anybody who lost anything. At that moment, forget politics; they don’t mean much if anything at all.

Not so for the liberal, however. They seem to wonder first what they can get out of such negative events…

Like President Obama using the Tuscon, Arizona shooting to hold a personal, political rally…

Or Barney Frank using the Boston Marathon bombings aftermath to pitch big government…

Or Lizz Winstead using the Oklahoma tornado to “point out hypocrisy” in the IRS’ abuse of power towards conservatives (exactly what that hypocrisy is, I have no idea)…

In the case of President Obama and of Barney Frank, they didn’t stop to consider people’s feelings first because they’re cold-hearted politicians with sociopathic tendencies. In Winstead’s case, however, I genuinely believe that she’s simply not used to thinking before she speaks.

I mean no disrespect or even censure to her by saying that, but her guffaw is merely one in a long list of such thoughtlessness.

All of These Obama Scandals Are Making My Head Hurt

Details keep streaming in about the various scandals the Obama administration is caught up in: Benghazi, the Department of Justice’s wiretapping of the Associated Press, the IRS targeting conservative organizations.

I’m not going to lie (unlike Obama): Sorting through all of the muck is getting exhausting. One scandal at a time, I can handle just fine. But three? And of such enormity?

It’s too much! I genuinely don’t know how to study all of them properly, much less comment on them. It’s like every time I think “Ah ha! There’s my story,” something else comes up that leaves me shaking my head, bewildered and blog-less.

And I’m not a stupid person by any means.

I have an notably high IQ (yes, I’ve been tested and more than just my mommy says I’m special), I stay abreast of the news, I read a heck of a lot on a wide range of topics, and I regularly exercise my brain by considering multiple angles.

I pride myself on my ability to follow complex psychological, political, historical and literary threads, through knots and all. I’m the kind of woman who enjoys a puzzle: give me a bunch of pieces and I will make it my goal to fit them all together into something that makes sense.

So considering how difficult it is for me to keep track of all of the drama, I can only imagine how hard it is to actually devise all of these plots and schemes. Anybody who says that President Obama is an idiot is dead wrong: there’s no way to juggle this much machination without some serious smarts.
A lesser cretin would have cried “Uncle” a long time ago.

What’s Really up With Obama, the Marine and the Umbrella

When I first saw the headlines about President Obama making a Marine hold an umbrella for him against the rain, my first thought was, “So what?”

I mean, with all of the scandals in the spotlight right now – Benghazi, the AP wiretapping and the IRS targeting conservative organizations – why we were making a big deal out of an umbrella was beyond me. For that matter, why it was newsworthy at all escaped me.

So thank you to The Daily Caller for clearing this issue up. Sure, it’s still not the biggest issue out there when our national security and First Amendment rights are being grossly violated and our Commander-in-Chief is abusing his power to further his own personal machinations…

But it’s still an interesting side note to file away: just one more piece of evidence to show how little Obama understands or cares about his position or the military.

The Daily Caller explains…

“The commander in chief of the American armed forces… forced a violation of Marine Corps regulations, so he wouldn’t get wet.

“According to Marine Corps regulation MCO P1020.34F of the Marine Corps Uniform Regulations chapter 3, a male Marine is not allowed to carry an umbrella while in uniform. There is no provision in the Marine Corps uniform regulation guidelines that allows a male Marine to carry an umbrella.

“Nevertheless, during a press conference under a light drizzle with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan… President Obama allowed the First Head to be protected from the elements by an umbrella held by a male Marine corporal.

“The relevant portion of the regulation reads, ‘3035. UMBRELLAS (Female Marines). Female Marines may carry an all-black, plain standard or collapsible umbrella at their option during inclement weather with the service and dress uniforms. It will be carried in the left hand so that the hand salute can be properly rendered. Umbrellas may not be used/carried in formation nor will they be carried with the utility uniform…’

“Not even the President of the United States can request a Marine to carry an umbrella without the express consent of the Commandant of the Marine Corps, according the Marine Corps Manual.”

Who knows. Maybe President Obama didn’t know.

But assuredly, he wouldn’t have cared even if he did.

Black DJs Get Really Ignorant on Baltimore Radio Station

Driving to work this morning, I couldn’t find anything interesting on my normal Baltimore radio stations, so I began flipping through the others mindlessly. That led me to stumble upon the following exchange from two black DJs:

Black DJ1: They hate him that much. They don’t care about unemployment, or making sure that our children are educated or taking care of the homeless. They just want to impeach him.

Black DJ2: [Probably shaking his head judging by the somber disgust in his voice] White people.

Black DJ1: Yeah, white people.

Black DJ2: [Laughing] Good thing we’re going to run the world someday.

As displayed by these two DJs, the level of ignorance common in this country is appalling.

First off, President Obama is caught up in three really big scandals right now: Snooping on AP communications, using the IRS to target and intimidate conservative organizations during the 2012 elections, and of course, the Benghazi botch-up.

So it seems those DJs shouldn’t be asking about unemployment, which, incidentally, is bad and has been bad ever since this President took office over four years ago… about education, which, just fyi, is appallingly lacking under the current administration considering what ill-behaved little monsters our children are becoming… or about the homeless, which, for the record, is also less-than-peachy thanks to the policies Obama is so intent on enacting.

It seems those DJs should be asking instead why anybody would like Obama when he’s been responsible for so much needless death, suffering, annoyance and repression.

Personally, I don’t understand why they can’t see how ignorant (or racist, or hypocritical) they are. But that’s probably because I’ve been taught to use my brain.

They’ve been taught to use the liberal propaganda machine. And nothing else.

The Media Is Actually Covering the News Story About the IRS Targeting Conservatives!

This whole story about the IRS targeting conservative groups last year is amazing. I’m not surprised that it happened so much – this is after all the same administration responsible for the Fast and Furious gun-running scandal and the shameless botch-up to the Benghazi embassy attack – but that it’s actually being covered by the mainstream media at all.

MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough was allowed to mention it on his program, Morning Joe, and liberal extremist and New York Times columnist, Maureen Dowd, mentioned it as well, albeit briefly.

Even a reporter from the Associated Press called White House Press Secretary Jay Carney on a discrepancy concerning the inappropriate audits. “The President did use the words ‘if these activities had taken place,’” he noted. “But there has been an acknowledgment on the part of the IRS leadership that these things did indeed occur. I wondered why the President used that phrasing in claiming that it was outrageous.”

Jay Carney being Jay Carney said a lot of nothing in reply. But that’s to be expected.

Again, so is President Obama’s people purposely harassing conservative groups, right down to the IRS demanding the names of high school and college students who attended Linchpins of Liberty down in Tennessee, a conservative political philosophy training course. He did, after all, call us the “enemy” more the once already.

And despite the mainstream media’s current focus, don’t expect much to come out of this.

President Obama will probably get away with this one too.

Why? Bernard Goldberg’s 2008 political commentary, “Crazies to the Left of Me, Wimps to the Right” comes to mind in trying to answer this question.

Liberals aren’t going to stop doing horridly insane things anytime soon… and conservatives aren’t going to stop letting them get away with it.

Until they do, expect this and worse.

ABC “News” Takes Two Months to Report on Abortionist Kermit Gosnell Trial

It took ABC “News” 56 days to cover abortionist Kermit Gosnell’s “House of Horrors.”
56 days. That’s practically two months.
Two months of testimony concerning grossly unprofessional medical conditions, a woman dying due to extreme medical malpractice that could have easily claimed other lives before her, and newborn babies’ spinal columns being fatally snipped apart with scissors.
Two months. 56 days.
What the heck?
Newsbusters adds, “As the Media Research Center has aggressively documented, ABC went from March 18, 2013 (the trial’s start) through Monday afternoon with no coverage. Yet during the same time, the network devoted a staggering 187 minutes (or 70 segments) to other shocking criminal cases, such as Jodi Arias and Amanda Knox.”
And of course we all remember how ABC “News” jumped all over the Trayvon Martin shooting well before it knew any real facts, lying and disguising and misleading to its two-sizes-two-small heart’s content.
But that’s because racism might possibly have been involved… though we now know it didn’t. Hence the mainstream media silence today on how shooter George Zimmerman’s prosecutors want to exclude any details about Martin’s bad boy behavior prior to his alleged murder.
Jodi Arias and Amanda Knox are even more kosher, since – on the surface at least – they involve no nasty details that might incriminate the political left. Maniacal abortionist Gosnell, however, obviously does.
And ABC “News” quite clearly can’t have that.
Because it’s not about news at all these days. It’s about propaganda.

American Girls Support Anti-American Boston Marathon Bomber

Feminism is dead in the United States of America.
When “thousands of American teen girls are crushing on Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar ‘Jahar’ Tsarnaev,” as the New York Post reports, what else can you conclude but that feminism is dead?
The Post writes that “The swooning teens will not accept allegations that the bushy-haired college kid – whom they refer to by his nickname, ‘Jahar’ – and his brother, Tamerlan, 26, killed three and maimed hundreds by setting off bombs at the April 15 race and killed an MIT police officer during the ensuing manhunt.”

These girls are conducting a social-media movement to exonerate the Boston Marathon bomber. They’re writing “#FreeJahar” on their bodies to raise awareness of the terrorists’ innocence. One pretty little, blue-eyed, blond-haired nitwit is even getting one of the younger Tsarnaev’s tweets tattooed on her arm.

How do they know he’s innocent? Because he’s cute. Duh! Plus, they like read like omg ALL of his tweets.

What in the world are we teaching our girls that they think it’s noble to defend murderers and terrorists? That they choose to make their heroic stand supporting anti-American foreign extremists?

Of course, it could possibly have something to do with the way we’re schooling them to believe that nothing matters.

·         Their bodies don’t matter – Go ahead and sleep with whomever you want to. While you’re at it, booze it up and drug it up. It’s all good! And if you happen to get preggers, just kill the fetus. It’s merely a lump of tissue anyway. Kinda like them when it comes down to it.

·         Their souls don’t matter – God doesn’t really exist anyway, right? Or if he does, heaven is for everybody.

·         Their brains don’t matter – Education: who needs it. Post enough YouTube videos and you can get famous shaking your booty and baring it all for the cameras, which is the real achievement to be had out of life.
When it comes down to it, these girls are desperate to find some meaning in life. And since they’re told by source after source after source that nothing important matters, they’re going further and further and further to find something that can.

To the point of horrific absurdity. Like defending a confessed terrorist.

So again, I have to say: Feminism is dead in the United States. And the sad truth is that we killed it.

My Thoughts on the Whistleblowers’ Round of the Benghazi Hearings

Yesterday, after reading all of the news about the Benghazi hearings – this time involving at least three government insider whistleblowers – I was all completely prepare to write a scathing indictment of Hillary Clinton, Susan Rice, the mainstream media and the rest of the back-stabbing, self-serving, lying-through-their-teeth, don’t-care-who-gets-raped-and-murdered-in-the-process Obama administration.

And then I woke up this morning and I had to question what the point was of going into the details.

I mean, it’s not like we didn’t already know that the terrorist attack had nothing to with a stupid YouTube video insulting the Prophet Mohammed. Nobody even knew that movie existed until Obama and his cronies threw it out to the world as the lamest scape goat ever.

Then there’s the fact that we couldn’t send anybody to help our besieged guys over a nine-hour period, even though we had resources close enough to be useful. Or how about the question of why a U.S. embassy was that poorly protected in the first place, giving Benghazi’s Muslim extremists the opportunity to kill one of our ambassadors and three other military-connected citizens.

Seriously. What the heck? To all of it.

We knew they were lying then. We know that they’re lying now. And we know that they’re probably going to get away with it again.

With that said, kudos to the brave people who came forward to testify. I wish them the best.

Racist and Misogynist Democrat, Dick Harpootlian, Viciously Attacks Conservative South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley Again

What is it about conservative women that makes liberal men hate us so very much?

Sarah Palin, Michelle Bachmann, Michelle Malkin, Condaleeza Rice, S.E. Cupp… They’re all prominent conservative women who get lots of hateful, unabashed flak from liberals.

Sure, the liberal women get in some good digs on their conservative rivals too. But let’s face it: women are almost expected to be catty. It’s not an excuse, but we are more observant then men and so we’re more likely to take issue with minute details.

It takes additional effort for men to stoop to that level, yet Democrats seem go there without any hesitation when a conservative woman steps onto the scene.

Former South Carolina Democratic Party Chairman Dick Harpootlian is the latest such example. On Friday at the Jefferson-Jackson dinner, he addressed the assembled audience of Democrats, telling them that conservative South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley’s challenger would “send her back to wherever the hell she came from.”

Then, after that went viral, he tried to explain how all he was “suggesting is that she needs to go back to being an accountant in a dress store rather than being this fraud of a governor we have.”

Which makes it soooooooo much better. Thanks for that clarification, Dick.

Incidentally, last year at the Democratic National Convention, Harpootlian intentionally likened Haley to Hitler’s mistress when he said she was “down in the bunker รก la Eva Braun.”

Also incidentally, the current South Carolina Governor isn’t just female – a purportedly cherished and underprivileged group according to Democrats – but she’s also Indian-American: a minority; a person who has to struggle just to survive, much less thrive; somebody who only the despicable Republicans would ever say something mean about.

(Bad Republicans! Bad!)

Yet all of the rules about being nice to “the little people” goes out the window whenever they happen to be conservative. If Republicans had made even one of the comments Harpootlian did, they would have been classified as misogynists and racists.

Democrats though? They can get away with their hateful speech much more easily.

In their books, women and minorities are mere tools to be used and discarded as necessary. So when those tools don’t act the way they want them to, it’s ok to throw them across the room or into the trash.

Only problem is that conservative women don’t take kindly to either. Sorry boys.

Bill Ayers Says He’s Not Like the Boston Marathon Bombers

Ever heard of Bill Ayers?

Probably only if you’re a conservative junkie like me. So let me let the wholly verifiable fill you in:

“William Charles ‘Bill’ Ayers (born December 26, 1944 in Oak Park, Illinois) is currently a professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago and former Chicago community organizer. He is best known as a founder of the internationally supported terrorist Weather Underground Organization (WUO), and as a good friend of U.S. President Barack Obama. The WUO has often mistakenly been labeled as a Vietnam era protest organization, however many of the organization’s activities continued well past the end of American involvement in Vietnam, the fall of South Vietnam, and the victory of the Communist regime of North Vietnam, which was the group’s oft-stated goals. Ayers is the husband of terrorist Bernadine Dohrn.”

Summed up, Bill Ayers was a far-left domestic terrorist who believed – and still believes to this day – in furthering socialism, which he’s willing to achieve by any means including:

  • Bombing the U.S. Capitol in 1971
  • Bombing the Pentagon in 1972
  • Bombing the U.S. Department of State in 1975
All in all, Ayers and his Weather Underground Organization were responsible for around 72 bombings, some in protest of the Vietnam War – which they considered an example of U.S. oppression and repression – and some in protest to some other left-wing terrorist-dream.

Yet Ayers is now taking issue with being compared to the Boston Marathon bombers, claiming that “There is no relationship at all between what Weather Underground members did and the bombings that two brothers allegedly committed on April 15 in Massachusetts.”

As Breitbart Editor Ben Shapiro puts it, “That, of course, is not true. The only difference between what the Weather Underground did and what the Tsarnaevs did in Boston is that the Tsarnaevs were significantly more competent.”

He also notes that “The Tsarnaevs also thought they were stopping Western killing of indigenous peoples. The only difference is that they didn’t live long enough to become college professors.”

Not to use too light a tone when discussing such vile men, but…

Oh snap!

President Obama Tells Ohio State University Graduating Class That Government Is Good

How do you construct a convincing lie?

Just ask President Obama’s speechwriters. They’re experts in the art of not telling the truth, so writing a government-is-good commencement address for him to deliver to the 2013 graduating class of Ohio State University was doubtlessly a regular day in the office for them.

Basically what they did was throw a feel-good truth on top of a lie to make it more palatable to the gullible audience. Then voila! A dangerously indigestible message suddenly became five-star dining. Here’s a snippet of what they wrote for the President:

“Unfortunately, you’ve grown up hearing voices that incessantly warn of government as nothing more than some separate, sinister entity that’s at the root of all our problems… They’ll warn that tyranny is always lurking just around the corner. You should reject these voices. Because what they suggest is that our brave and creative e and unique experiment in self-rule is somehow just a sham with which we can’t be trusted.

“We have never been a people who place all our faith in government to solve our problems. We shouldn’t want to. But we don’t think the government is the source of all our problems either. Because we understand that this democracy is ours. And as citizens, we understand that it’s not about what America can do for us; it’s about what can be done by us, together, through the hard and frustrating but absolutely necessary work of self-government. And class of 2013, you have to be involved in that process.”

How any of that makes for an appropriate commencement speech is beyond me. Even so, it was well-played since the graduating class was doubtlessly filled with mushy-brained idealists. After four years of indoctrination, they’re already exceedingly vulnerable to further propaganda.

And Obama and his speechwriters know that.

So they started by mocking a true premise: “Unfortunately, you’ve grown up hearing voices that incessantly warn of government as nothing more than some separate, sinister entity that’s at the root of all our problems… They’ll warn that tyranny is always lurking just around the corner.”

Then they took the next natural step by flat-out rebuffing what they just mocked: “You should reject these voices.” The fact that they’re making that statement into a no-duh line makes it that much more effective.

Finally, he added some feel-good lines about how the graduating class was part of a bigger, “brave and creative and unique experiment in self-rule” and how they “have to be involved in that process” of upholding democracy… which apparently entails supporting government.

It’s an inspiring charge. To go running right off a cliff.

And that’s how you lie, kids. Take it from the experts.

Does Freedom of Speech Really Exist in the U.S. Anymore… Or Is It Just for the Privileged?

It seems almost pointlessly obvious to state that American children are idiots these days.

Blame it on a severe lack of respectable role models, on parental neglect or on the education system, all of which certainly factor in. But the final result is that our children are growing dumber and dumber and dumber, as evidenced by news story (about flash mobs) after news story (about crime statistics) after news story (about Katy Perry’s popularity ratings).

So it’s no real surprise that some idiot high school student in Massachusetts thoughtit a good idea to make threats through text messages and social media, referencing the White House, President Obama and the Boston Marathon bombings, and declaring “everybody you will see what I am going to do: kill people.”

Hardly the most eloquent any more than he is intelligent.

Well, one of his peers went to the school administrators, who went to the police, who arrested the young man. And now the little idiot could do 20 years in prison for making terrorist threats.

20 years. For just saying something.

Now don’t get me wrong, because I don’t feel bad for him even if he does get the full-term stint in the pokey. As I stated before, he’s an idiot. And regardless of what influences prompted him to claim such little regard for life, he’s still an individual with free choice.

He chose to make some really immature choices. Now he has to live with the consequences.

My main concern is that he didn’t actually do anything. He only repeated the violent language of how many trashed-out music industry icons and icon-wannabes?

·         Foster the People had the smash hit, Pumped Up Kicks, last year, a happy little ditty about a planned school shooting written from the shooter’s perspective. The chorus goes: “All the other kids with the pumped-up kicks, you’d better run… outrun my gun. All the other kids with the pumped-up kicks, you’d better run… faster than my bullet.”
·         Back in my high school days, Ludacris had a popular rap about the power he wielded with his guns and his money, allowing him to “roll out” with his “homies” and his “twin Glock 40s cocked back” in probable pursuit of a drive-by or armed assault.
·         Two years ago, pampered playboy Kanye West released “Monster,” complete with a fairly graphic, misogynistic music video and the lyrics: “Murder, murder in black convertibles. I kill a block; I murder the avenues. Rape and pillage your village, women and children.”

And that’s just a small handful of threats that hit the airwaves and our children’s playlists.

So why don’t we prosecute those privileged idiots and throw them into prison for 20 years?

Too Many Examples of Things We Shouldn’t Be Seeing

There are too many important subjects today for me to pick and choose, so I’m just going to list everything, throwing in some perfectly placed sarcasm to emphasize the truth… which, incidentally, should be exceedingly evident.

So without further ado:

·         A new Economist/YouGov poll indicated that the rich like President Obama more than the poor. The survey showed that less than half of Americans making $100,000 per year approve of his performance, while 54% of those making more than that think he’s doing just fine. A real shocker considering how much time he spends talking about how much he cares about the little people.
·         University of Wyoming student blogger and radio host Meg Lanker-Simons allegedly posted a nasty comment from herself to herself in an effort to smear Republicans and justify her juvenile beliefs. The rape threat read: “I want to hate f*ck Meg Lanker-Simons so hard. That chick that runs her liberal mouth all the time and doesn’t care who knows it. I think its hot and it makes me angry. One night with me and shes gonna be a good Republican b*tch.” Lanker-Simmons screamed misogyny until campus police “obtained substantial evidence verifying that the offending Facebook post came from Lanker-Simons’ computer, while the computer was in her possession.” A classless, loud-mouthed, lying, bigoted liberal: and this is news why?
·         After meeting with anti-Christian extremist Mikey Weinstein, the Pentagon made an official statement that “Religious proselytization is not permitted within the Department of Defense… Court martials and non-judicial punishments are decided on a case-by-case basis…” In other words, sharing one’s faith is a big fat no-no. How much you wanna bet Christians will be the only ones to suffer from this new rule?
·         One of the three additional college students recently arrested in relation to the Boston Marathon bombings was allowed back into the U.S. earlier this year despite how he didn’t have a valid student visa. Now if he was a Christian…
·         Accordingto GeorgiaTipsheet, “A prominent pastor was allegedly disinvited from speaking at Morehouse College’s baccalaureate service this week after he criticized President Barack Obama, who will deliver the school’s commencement address. The Rev. Kevin Johnson, a Morehouse alumnus and the senior pastor of Bright Hope Baptist Church in North Philadelphia, Pa, wrote an opinion column earlier this month in the Philadelphia Tribune accusing Obama of neglecting the black community in his cabinet picks… and broader political agenda.” Because freedom of speech and individual thought just can’t be tolerated in today’s education system.

In conclusion, I have two questions, and it’s this:

What in the world are we doing to ourselves, and when are we going to get a clue?

FDA Approves of 15-Year-Old Girls Taking Plan B “Abortion Pill”

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is now saying it will not only allow Teva Pharmaceuticals’ Plan B drug to be sold over the counter, but it will also legally permit girls as young as 15 to purchase the product without parental consent.

For those unfamiliar with Plan B, it’s known in conservative circles as an “abortion pill” since it’s meant to be taken after a woman has sex and therefore could potentially be pregnant.

Because that’s exactly what 15-year-old girls need: one more excuse to abuse their still-developing bodies and hormonally unbalanced psyche.

Thanks for that FDA.

What would we do without you.
