I know when I write about half a dozen or more stories in the same blog post, I don’t get very many hits. But there are some days I simply can’t help myself.
There’s just too much to write about!
Like MSNBC’s Martin Bashir, who is apologizing for saying somebody should defecate on Sarah Palin. He now says his words “were neither accurate, nor fair. They were unworthy of anyone who would claim to have an interest in politics, and they have brought shame upon my friends and colleagues at this network, none of whom were responsible for the things that I said.”
Bashir is right on all counts, including the part where he’s solely responsible for the trash-talking, though he might have accurately added that he was only keeping up a long-standing tradition of unbecoming behavior from MSNBC.
I mean, this is the network that also employs Alec Baldwin, Hollywood’s ticking time bomb, who got caught on camera screaming “c*ck-s*cking f*g” at paparazzi… then took to the Huffington Post to claim that he didn’t use the homosexual slur but actually said “fat head.”
Though, let’s be fair to MSNBC. There’s plenty of bad behavior to go around with the mainstream media in general. For that matter, there’s plenty of bad behavior to go around leftists in general. Otherwise, how do you explain how:
· The unemployment rate was deliberately manufactured by the Census Bureau going into the homestretch of the 2012 elections and beyond, according to an inside source.
· The Department of Homeland Security still hasn’t fired its black employee who runs a website calling for the mass murder of white people.
· In Wisconsin, special prosecutor Francis Schmitz has gone so far as to conduct raids, confiscate computers and order secret investigations against conservative groups and Governor Scott Walker supporters.
· Hollywood’s Harvey Weinstein ardently claims that Obama was merely mistaken when he repeated over and over and over again that nobody was going to lose their healthcare coverage. “This is the only country in the world where we don’t have healthcare… Obama’s not embarrassing; the country’s embarrassing,” he went on to tell CNN’s Piers Morgan (who surprisingly tried arguing the truth for once).
Martin Bashir, Alec Baldwin and the rest of the MSNBC cast… the Census Bureau, Department of Homeland Security… and other federal and state government institutions… Harvey Weinstein and the rest of Hollywood, including Alec Baldwin. Again…
It’s a deep-seated trend of pathetic behavior.
And yes, sometimes I have to call ‘em all out on it in one rambling post. Even if I don’t get any hits.
