President Obama’s Approval Rating Slides on Continuing Obamacare Debacle

President Barack Obama’s job approval rating is down to a mere 37% according to a CBS News poll out this morning.

That probably has a lot to do with the disastrous Obamacare and its equally pathetic website, which is reporting new problems every single day, it seems.

I told you a week or so ago about how the website crashed on Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius while she was on CNN discussing the already enormously problematic issues. Well, it happened again, this time down in Miami, where she went to meet with so-called “navigators” who are supposedly helping people sign up for Obamacare.

It’s a bit difficult to sign up for coverage on a constantly crashing website though.

“The screen says ‘I’m sorry but the system is temporarily down,’” said CBS’ Brian Andrews, who was there documenting the debacle in progress.

“Uh oh,” Sebelius replied, taking the day’s award for biggest understatement… and least intelligent commentary.

“That happens every day,” responded somebody else.

(Incidentally, CBS writers spelled said person’s name one way in one paragraph and then another way in the next. They also didn’t seem quite clear on whether she was a signup-ee or a “navigator.” Either way, it doesn’t matter. The website still stinks.)

But it’s a good thing the online exchange crashes all the time since TrustedSEC CEO David Kennedy says, “Hackers are definitely after [the Obamacare website]. And if I had to guess, based on what I can see… I would say the website is either hacked already or will be soon.”

Did I mention that his company is an information security firm? So he would know.

What he might not know, since most Americans don’t, is how politicians – who keep repeating that they’re subject to the same healthcare plans as their constituents – actually have access to an exclusive array of perks, including in-person support sessions, special non-crashing websites, and a larger selection of options, including a finely tailored “gold plan.”

Anybody wondering why Obama’s job approval rating is down to 37% isn’t asking the right question. It’s only a mystery that it’s that high.
