What Obama Really Cares About... And It Ain't the Children

President Obama talks a debatably great speech about protecting our children when the topic at hand is increased government spending, higher taxes, redistribution of wealth, gun control and all of the other hot buttons that liberals love to yell about.

But as the cartoon above satirizes, he clams up pretty quickly when those same children he purports to love so much encroach on his political agenda.

So abortion and even infanticide? No big deal just as long as Planned Parenthood is kept happy and women remain under the liberal thumb thinking that they’re safe when they’re actually brainwashed murders like so many zombies before them.

Civil liberties, particularly pertaining to making the best decisions for your children without the fear of a police state coming in and kidnapping your sick baby? Yeah, that doesn’t fit into Obama’s plan to save them either.

And forget protecting the kiddos – or any other Americans – from terrorist threats. As the Boston Marathon bombings, the Benghazi U.S. embassy attack and every other terrorist strike against U.S. citizens on U.S. soil shows, he’ll go out of his way to protect the other guys. The bad guys.

Then he’ll threaten anybody who tries to do otherwise.

Right now, there are at least four career officials at the State Department and CIA who are preparing to share sensitive information about what happened last September 11, at the aforementioned embassy.

And they’ve all been threatened by Obama administration officials to keep their mouths shut.

Victoria Toensing, who used to work for the Justice Department and the Senate Intelligence Committee, and is now representing one of these men or women explains, “I’m not talking generally. I’m talking specifically about Benghazi – that people have been threatened. And not just the State Department. People have been threatened at the CIA” as well.

“It’s frightening, and they’re doing some very despicable threats to people. Not ‘we’re going to kill you’ or not ‘we’re going to prosecute you tomorrow,’ but they’re taking career people and making them well aware that their careers will be over” if they play nice with congressional investigators and tell the truth.”

So the next time that President Obama talks about how much he cares about the little people, don’t believe him…

His actions speak a lot louder than words.

More Americans Say Government Can’t Take More of Their Personal Freedom

A Fox News survey asked 619 registered voters whether they would willingly give up their “personal freedom in order to reduce the threat of terrorism.”

45% said no. 43% said yes… the day after the Boston Marathon bombing.

That’s the first time since the 9/11 terrorist attacks that even a small majority of Americans said it wasn’t worth it.

Can’t imagine why when, according to the nonpartisan Government Accountability Institute, President Obama spent twice as much time between vacationing and golfing than he did in economic-related meetings.

Or when Vice President Joe Biden says really stupid stuff about how the Taliban “is not our enemy.”

Or when, six months after Hurricane Sandy, tens of thousands remain homeless despite government promises of aid and help.

It’s almost like Americans are beginning to think that our big, bloated government isn’t good for much, even when it comes to national security… one of its most fundamental reasons for existing.

And for the life of me, I just can’t imagine why.

Silly Americans. Clearly they’re just holding onto their “guns or religion or antipathy toward people who aren’t like them” a little too tightly.

President Obama Attends George W. Bush Library Opening and Issues Stump Speech

President Obama – along with former Presidents Carter, George H. W. Bush and Clinton – attended former President George W. Bush’s formal opening of the George W. Bush Library yesterday.

And he used it as a stump speech for immigration reform (i.e. letting law-breaking illegal immigrants stay in the country, contributing to gang violence, state and national debt and a general disregard for American laws).

What a troglodyte.

A Lengthening List of Terrorist Attacks and Attempts Under President Obama

Ever since the Fort Hood shooting in November 2009 – only a few months after the Little Rock, Arkansas Army recruitment center shooting – it struck me that there had already been two successful terrorist attacks on U.S. soil in President Obama’s first year alone… when we’d stayed safe for seven years after 9/11 under President George W. Bush.

It hit me again the very next month when the underwear bomber successfully boarded Northwest Airlines Flight 253 with explosives packed into his panties. He didn’t manage to blow up the plane, but Obama can’t take any credit for that happy ending.

Then here was the Times Square bombing attempt in May, 2010, another example of dumb luck or heavenly providence in America’s favor, since the device never went off.

And while technically on foreign soil, the U.S. embassy attack in Benghazi, Libya in which four Americans were killed needs to be added to this list as well due to its severity and the fact that it could have been prevented a dozen times over. At the very least.

Finally, we had the Boston Marathon bombing in April 2013, just a few months into President Obama’s second term.

This is the growing list of unnecessary death and mayhem to trace back to one of the most irresponsible administrations this nation has ever seen. This is Obama’s legacy.

It’s something I’ve wanted to blog about ever since the Boston Marathon bombing, but I kept getting distracted by each new piece of damning evidence concerning how this latest attack could have been prevented.

Today, thanks to a well-spoken reminder from U.S. Representative Tom Cotton, I’m finally getting around to it. Cotton took to the House floor to point out his:

“… grave doubts about the Obama Administration’s counterterrorism policies and programs. Counterterrorism is often shrouded in secrecy, as it should be, so let us judge by the results. In barely four years in office, five jihadists have reached their targets in the United States under Barack Obama: the Boston Marathon bomber, the underwear bomber, the Times Square bomber, the Fort Hood shooter… the Little Rock recruiting office shooter. In the over seven years after 9/11 under George W. Bush, how many terrorists reached their target in the United States? Zero! We need to ask why is the Obama Administration failing in its mission to stop terrorism before it reaches its targets in the United States?”

Representative Cotton, a Republican, House freshman from Arkansas, nailed it.

But if We the People haven’t already figured out the answer to his question and decided to do something about it, then Boston won't be the last part of America to feel the effects of Obama’s unfeeling irresponsibility.

Boston Marathon Bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev Was Living off of Welfare Benefits

According to the Boston Herald, Boston Marathon bomber and mastermind Tamerlan Tsarnaev – along with his brainwashed wife and little girl – was living off of welfare benefits.

You know… the kind that’s doled out by the state government and funded by state taxpayers… many of whom got blown up or seriously injured during Tsarnaev’s violent expression of anti-Americanism.

So thanks to the bleeding heart, rob-the-rich-to-pay-the-lazy, let’s-talk-about-how-we-feel-instead-of-the-facts government system we have in place, we got a devastating national tragedy and a feather in the terrorist’s cap.

If that’s true, then it’s not entirely out of line to blame the government for the bombing. I mean, it did fund it after all; if Tsarnaev had been forced to use his own money to provide for his family, he maybe wouldn’t have so much left over to create the two bombs that did go off and the other ones he was planning on detonating.

Yet Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid still wants to claim that “Government is not inherently bad. It is inherently good.”

If it’s “inherently good” like he claims then it’s in a Jimmy Carter kind-of way. Not the present-day Jimmy Carter, who has become inherently bad in his self-centered quest for personal validation, but the man who bumbled the presidency, the economy and the American dream with the best of intentions all those decades ago.

In case I’m not being clear, let me rephrase myself as bluntly as possible…

If Senator Reid is right, then government is inherently good and simultaneously inherently stupid.

Which makes it bad anyway.

So even if Reid is right in his claim, he’s still completely and inexcusably wrong overall.

Liberals Self-Righteously Spout Unfeeling Nonsense About Boston Marathon

Liberalism is the art of pretending to say something profound while saying nothing intelligent.

The proof? There’s tons of it… pretty much any time a liberal opens his or her mouth, actually. Like the following four examples, all concerning the Boston Marathon bombers, who were originally suspected Muslim extremists and are now confirmed as such.

Apparently that’s the kind of people who deserve some kind of a free pass, kid-glove treatment or no real analysis, depending on what non-intelligent liberal you’re talking to.

Ruth O’Brien, a professor – a supposed academic – at the City University of New York, writes:

“Now we have captured the two terrorists from Chechnya who come from the troubled region that is Muslim, but we cannot understand their motives, not yet. And Obama encourages us to refrain.

“This said, the mortuary pictures of the older brother of the two are extremely disturbing, raising questions as to whether the Boston Police Department captured him with too much force.”

Chris Matthews, a TV host – a supposed professional – on MSNBC, says:

I know we’re filled in this country with some strange thinking people – truthers, birthers – that have off-the-wall theories. I don’t know how anybody could look at this evidence presented so far and have some other theory of the case besides the indictment itself.

“Why is [knowing the Boston Marathon bombers’ motive] important? Why is that important to… to prosecuting? I mean, what different does it make why they did it if they did it?”

Keith Ellison, a Democrat and Muslim politician – a supposed man of the people – in the U.S. House of Representatives, asserts:

“Well, you know, it is too early for me to second-guess the FBI. I think we need to know more about what they knew… There is just not enough information. What I will says is this: we don’t know what [the Boston Marathon bombers’] motivation was yet. Those facts may come clear. There is some indication that this had to do with Chechnya and their dispute with Russia. And… it is not necessarily the case that anyone should jump to the conclusion that there was any religious motivation here. I think again, prudence and clam is the order of the day.”

And Richard Falk, a Human Rights Council member – a supposed expert – with the United Nations, declares:

“The American global domination project is bound to generate all kinds of resistance in the post-colonial world. In some respects, the United States has been fortunate not to experience worse blowbacks, and these may yet happen, especially if there is no disposition to rethink US relations to others in the world, starting with the Middle East…

“Should we not all be mediating on W.H.  Auden’s haunting line: ‘Those to whom evil is done/do evil in return’?”

Thing is, they’d all be singing an extremely different tune if – as they all so desperately, nastily and irrationally hoped – it was a Tea Party member who had bombed he Boston Marathon.

Which makes them hypocrites on top of being weak-minded, self-glorified hacks… exactly what we’ve come to expect from our academics, our entertainers and informers, our politicians and our supposed experts.

A pitiful lack of character.

Is Glee Going to Take a Jab at the Dangers of Islamic Terrorism?

I just have one question to ask this morning.

Not even an accompany answer. Just one question.

After following up the Sandy Hook elementary school shooting by airing an episode that pushed gun control in a supposed effort to save the children… When is Glee going to commemorate the Boston Marathon bombing with a script about the dangers of terrorism and Islamic fundamentalism?

It’s just a question.

Answer it if you dare.

Billboard Captures Boston Marathon Bombers Dead-On

As I write this, the Boston Marathon bombing story is still unfolding in dramatic detail, with large parts of the city shut down altogether.

One suspect, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26, is dead. His brother, 19-year-old Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, may or may not be. It would seem that he’s pinned down by the cops regardless.

There are reports that the brothers are from Chechnya and reports that they’re from Russia and reports that they’re Islamic and evil and well-mannered and scholarship-receiving… and on and on the stories go depending on the minute and the news source.

These newspapers and websites and magazines are just speculating of course, some better than others. And we’ll find out the real details going forward into the next few days and weeks.

But one thing that was very obvious about the bombers from the very first blast is summed up on a billboard off of I-93 in Boston.

COWARDS

I very rarely find myself agreeing with unions, but I have to hand it to this one since it captured the perpetrators so perfectly.

These men, whatever else they turn out to be, are cowards.

Disgusting, despicable, downright loathsome cowards.

For now, I’m fine with that description alone.

Politico Is Amazing at Demonstrating How Pathetic the Mainstream Media Really Is

Today’s post is not going to be about how mad President Obama is that the gun control bill failed miserably in the Senate. It’s not even going to be about how he’s pretending to be all broken up about the Sandy Hook elementary school shooting – saying that his anti-Second Amendment efforts are all aimed at keeping our children safe – when he’s reportedly deporting a Saudi Arabian foreign exchange student who just happens to be a person of interest in the Boston Marathon bombing.

Or how this development comes right after he had an impromptu meeting with Saudi Arabia’s foreign minister, and the suspect’s apartment was raided by federal and state agents.

Not that that’s not important to know, but we should better darn well know by now that President Obama is a double-standard toting, terrorist-accommodating cad who will use any opportunity to get his own way… no matter who gets hurt or hurt worse in the process.

So why spend a whole blog post discussing it when there are other issues to talk about.

Issues like how the mainstream media will do anything to ignore how President Obama is pretending to be all broken up about the Sandy Hook elementary school shooting – saying that his anti-Second Amendment efforts are all aimed at keeping our children safe – when he’s reportedly deporting a Saudi Arabian foreign exchange student who just happens to be a person of interest in the Boston Marathon bombing… or how this development comes right after he had an impromptu meeting with Saudi Arabia’s foreign minister and the suspect’s apartment was raided by both federal and state agents.

Politico Would Make a Great Trashy Romance Novel Publisher

Take Politico writers Glenn Thrush and Reid J. Epstein, who seem to be more suited for typing up drippy romance novels than factual news considering their opening paragraphs in an article melodramatically entitle: “Gun control: PresidentObama’s biggest loss.”

It starts like this…

“Never before had President Barack Obama put the moral force and political muscle of his presidency behind an issue quite this big  and lost quite this badly.”

[Editor’s note: Oh, boo hoo hoo. Cry me a river, build me a bridge and take your theatrics as far away from me as possible. Please.]

“The president, shaken to the core by the massacre of 26 innocents at Sandy Hook Elementary School, broke his own informal ‘Obama Rule’ – of never leaning into an issue without a clear path to victory – first by pushing for a massive gun control package no one expected to pass, and then sticking through it even as he retrenched to a relatively modest bipartisan bill mandating national background checks on gun purchases.”

[Editor’s note: This was never about those poor children or their grieving families. This was about Obama shamelessly using a tragedy to get his own dictator-wannabe way. As usual.]

“It was a bitter defeat for a president accustomed to winning, a second-term downer that may – or may not – foreshadow the slow decline suffered by so many of his predecessors. Obama seems to have the public behind him, but it illustrated his less-than-Johnsonian powers of personal persuasion, the possible shortcomings of his decision to wait a month after the killings to present a plan and above all the limits of his go-to outside strategy of taking his case directly to the American people.”

[Editor’s note: “Obama seems to have the public behind him?” Have they seen the Gallup poll showing that only 4% of Americans think gun control is a pressing issue? Have they checked out Obama’s approval rating? Sorry. Stupid questions, as that would mean they were interested in reporting facts instead of baseless propaganda.]

“More than anything, it was an emotional blow to Obama, who was as irritated at the four members of his own party as he was at the 90 percent of Republicans who defeated the bill.”

Not at All Moved by Politico’s Fictitiously Portrayed Main Character

Am I supposed to feel bad for the President?

I think that’s their goal: to make us feel bad for him. Which just isn’t going to happen in my case.

I’ll reserve my sincere condolences for those damaged in the Boston bombing. And for the undetermined number of people killed and injured in the fertilizer plant explosion outside of Waco, Texas.

Obama gets nothing from me. In my fact-backed opinion, he already takes plenty too much.

Illogical – and Heartless – Left Attacks Right Instead of the Boston Marathon Bomber

When was the last time we heard about a white, even remotely right-wing American setting off bombs specifically designed to blow innocent bystanders to literal bits?

Seriously. Was it Timothy McVeigh back in 1995?

Quite possibly, since it wasn’t Jared Lee Loughner in 2011, who didn’t use a bomb and was a satan-worshipping leftist. Nor was it James Holmes in 2012. Again, no bomb and he didn’t seem to have any political motivation whatsoever. He was just a generally repulsive individual.

Which leaves us with Timothy McVeigh in 1995. 18 years ago. So he’s hardly a logical all-encompassing example of how dangerous even-remotely right wing Americans can be.

But since when has the left been logical?

Good point? Yeah, I thought so too. And the following irrational comments by media members, Hollywood actors and politicians (in a long line of such) proves it even further in the wake of he Boston Marathon bombing…

Nationally syndicated newspaper columnist, magazine journalist and best-selling author David Sirota lost no time jumping on the leftist logic-less bandwagon with a Salon article expressing his “hope” that “the Boston Marathon bomber is a white American.” Because otherwise we might be mean to Muslims… who seem to have no problem being mean to us, incidentally.

Incidentally, Sirota’s article featured a picture of Timothy McVeigh and Osama bin Laden, the first whom he laments was treated as an individual while the second was treated as a group.

Considering that McVeigh was an individual and Osama was part of a group, that makes for exceptionally stupid comment number two out of an article filled with really stupid comments.

Not wanting to be outdone, the drug-damaged space cadets in Hollywood took to their platforms as well, including actor and comedian Jay Mohr, who tweeted Monday night:

“What bothers me most about today is that we’re getting used 2 it. ENOUGH. 2nd amendment must go. Violence has 2 stop. Culture MUST change.”

If you’re confused about how revoking the Second Amendment would have altered the Boston Marathon’s tragic outcome, join the logical club. The same goes for wondering if Mohr knows the violent garbage his entire industry disseminates on a daily basis.

Just as insane and about fifty times more heartless was former Massachusetts Congressman Barney Frank, who used the bombing as a platform to show an equally opportunistic CNN that government spending is a good thing.

“I never was as a member of Congress one of the cheerleaders for less government, lower taxes. No tax cut would have helped us deal with this or will help us recover. This is very expensive.”

What Frank failed to point out was how no tax raise kept it from happening in the first place.

Rather in the same way he neglected to consider how people were dead, dying and damaged before he started spouting his unforgivable lack of logic.

The Boston Marathon Bombings: Maybe It’s Time to Stop Playing Nice

I was going to play nice today in the aftermath of what happened at the Boston Marathon.

I was going to write about the tragedy where three people died and some hundred-plus others had their lives ripped apart. And all I was going to say about it was that it was horrible and senseless and that my heart was breaking for the families of those who were ruthlessly murdered.

I was going to be polite and respectful and keep politics out of today’s post. But then I started to think about it, and a single, simple, sad question came to my mind.

What’s the point?

What’s the point of playing nice when this is all we get out of it? Chaos and hatred and disgusting displays of just how depraved humans can get.

Playing nice only seems to allow our enemies to play more meanly.

Right now, our enemies are telling law-abiding citizens to play nice in the gun debate to “save the children.” Yet they’re simultaneously playing PC games with Muslim terrorists, who may or may not have been involved in yesterday’s Boston bombing. President Obama refused to call the bombings a terrorist act and cautioned his constituents not to jump to conclusions (though some White House spokesman later called it an act of terror), doubtlessly because there’s a decent chance a Muslim group is behind the bombs. But how fast do you think he’ll throw around labels and insinuations if it turns out some government-hating militia did it?

(Hey, he’s done it before even when there was just the thought of it being the Tea Party.)

Right now, our enemies are handing out condoms in schools and encouraging kids to explore their sexuality, labeling anybody who preaches abstinence as a prude and a religious halfwit. Yet they tell us to be surprised when our children have so little respect for each other that it becomes commonplace for 16-year-old boys to rape passed-out drunk 15-year-old girls and all their peers to laugh about it.

Right now, our enemies are doing everything wrong and calling it right and then shifting the blame whenever it literally and figuratively blows up in our faces. And since it blows up in our faces a lot, it seems safe to conclude that playing nice is only doing everyone a giant disservice.

So I’m not going to play nice today. I’m going to throw out a political point…

Regardless of whether the perpetrator turns out to be Muslim or some sick little American brat who was never taught to respect others, we should spend a lot less time trying or pretending or exhorting to play nice and a lot more time promoting the truth.

If we had only concerned ourselves with being honest instead of being “nice” before this point, the 2013 Boston Marathon probably could have ended in something other than tragedy.

Happy Tax Day 2013!

Happy Tax Day 2013!

Said nobody ever.

Except for maybe spoiled, selfish, stupid politicians who live off the taxpayer’s dime.

Like our president.

President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama paid an effective tax rate of just 18.4% in 2012 federal income tax.

“The figures, released by the White House, come as Obama included in his recently released budget the so-called “Buffett Rule,” which would slap a 30% minimum tax on anyone earning $1 million.

“The Obamas paid $112,214 in federal taxes and $29,450 in Illinois state income tax on an adjusted gross income of $608,611--$274,000 of which came from the president’s book royalties. The Obamas’ gross adjusted income fell significantly from 2011, when it was $789,674 and even further from the $5.6 million in 2009.

“During the 2012 presidential campaign, Obama attacked Republican rival Mitt Romney for having paid an effective tax rate of 15%. Romney paid a lower tax rate because the bulk of his income was derived from investments.

“The Obamas’ tax filings also reveal that the first couple donated 24.6% to charity, a sum still under the 29.4% the Romneys donated in 2011. Vice President Joe Biden and Dr. Jill Biden increased their charitable giving last year from 1.5% in 2011 to 1.87% in 2012.

Like I said: Happy Tax Day 2013.

Or not.

Glee Attacks the Symptoms Instead of the Sources in School Shooting Episode

I’ll admit that I used to watch Glee. I’ll even admit that I rather enjoyed it, ridiculous as it was.

The actors and actresses involved have some pretty amazing voices, and I’m a sucker for dance choreography. (One of my silly little fantasies is to one day be on Dancing with the Stars. How will I manage that since I’m not a star? Don’t ask. I told you it was silly.)

But then Glee started going way, way too far.

Now, even though I grew up in a conservative Christian household where I didn’t listen to non-oldies secular music until I was 14, today  I am well-versed in the continuous trash-talking the media makes about everything I am: conservative, Christian, Republican, white and female.

I watch TV and go to the movies and read books and follow the news and study politics. So I’m usually perfectly prepared to shrug off random references to conservatives being freaks, Christians being labeled as close-minded, Republicans being racists, sexist, homophobic bigots, whites being uncool and females being slutted-up sex toys.

It’s so prominent these days that I think I’d have to become a hermit to completely avoid it. Even last night among friends who know which way I lean, I got to hear a few insensitive remarks.

The point of me sharing all of that is to say that I’m not the most sensitive soul. I don’t break down or throw a hissy fit every time somebody tries to tramp on my feelings.

But I do have a line. I’ve put down a book or two because of blatant bias. And I stopped watching Glee after it arrogantly, contemptuously and ignorantly mocked the concept of waiting for marriage throughout an entire episode devoted specifically to doing just that.

Last night, Glee once again chose to offend and misinform, this time about gun control.

I didn’t watch it, but ABC reports that the comedy dramatized a school shooting, in which the culprit turns out to be a mentally handicapped girl who took one of her dad’s guns for protection. Clearly Glee was selling the pro-gun control position, showing how unfit individuals can too easily get their hands on even legally purchased firearms. And knowing Glee’s reputation for presenting only one severely skewed side of the story, I’m going to bet it didn’t say anything nice about the other side.

Yet here’s my question: when is Glee going to tackle a tough topic like oversexed kids raping their peers? Because that happens a lot more often and ruins a lot more lives than school shootings.

Like the Ohio high school football players who were just convicted of raping a fellow partier… the 17-year-old girl up in Canada who just killed herself after two years of struggling with the aftermath of something disturbingly similar… and the 15-year-old who killed herself last year after the same exact thing: she passed out drunk at a party, was sexually assaulted and then humiliated further by the perpetrators when they posted pictures of their crime online.

When is Glee going to run an episode about that?

Probably never. Because Glee doesn’t really care to change anyone’s lives. It just wants to make itself feel good by being edgy.

Michelle Obama Never Stops With the Propaganda, Brainwashing and Misinformation

It isn’t very difficult to brainwash most people. And those who do continue thinking on their own can be silenced.

That’s a paraphrase of something F. A. Hayek said in his economic, political and social commentary, The Road to Serfdom, a book I’ve mentioned several times before on this blog.

In short, it was written by an Austrian transplant to England during WWII, and it details how a free society can be manipulated into becoming a depraved dictatorship like Nazi Germany.

Under a slyly intense propaganda campaign, an entire nation can be made to believe insane inaccuracies. And not just believe but practice, orienting their whole lives around concepts that only belong in the heads of mental patients locked in straitjackets inside padded rubber rooms.

I’m not trying to be funny saying that either. It’s not a laughing matter. Otherwise, how can you explain the hordes of people who accept such preposterous notions as:

·         It’s a woman’s right to kill her unborn baby because “it’s her body,” even though she’d be committed in a heartbeat if she decided to take a chainsaw to her arm.
·         Promiscuity is just part of “being a kid,” even though kids aren’t mature enough to handle the consequences, which include broken hearts, bodies and lives.
·         It’s necessary for the government to provide “disadvantaged” people with paychecks and benefits despite how the poor don’t prosper under this system. Usually just the opposite.

Liberals don’t want you to examine the results though. They just want you to listen to their words as they tell you that up is down and down is up and right is wrong and wrong is right.

Michelle Obama, for example, likes to say she grew up impoverished and oppressed, yet went on to attend prestigious universities and become First Lady of the United States of America. Only yesterday, she compared her life to Hadiya Pendleton, a 15-year-old Chicagoan who attended President Obama’s Inauguration - Take II, only to get murdered two weeks later back home.

Mrs. Obama said, “… as I visited with the Pendleton family at Hadiya’s funeral, I couldn’t get over how familiar they felt to me. Because what I realized was Hadiya’s family was my family. Haydiya Pendleton was me, and I was her.”

If that sounds like a touching comparison, think again or you’re at risk of being brainwashed, if you’re not already. Since she grew up in a firmly middleclass home and probably never even saw a real gun growing up, much less got murdered by one, that’s sheer propaganda she’s spouting in her attempts to secure or keep ill-fated recruits.

The fact that she’s using the death of a 15-year-old to further that brainwashing should just show how depraved she already is.

Philadelphia Abortion Doctor Accused of Killing Live Babies Gets Ignored by Mainstream Media

You’d think the mainstream media would be interested in the trial and details of a serial killer. One who deliberately targeted helpless, innocent, little babies, snipping some of their spines with scissors.

Yet you don’t see the major news networks mentioning much, if anything, about Dr. Kermit Gosnell, an abortionist who operated a filthy clinic in Philadelphia. According to emerging details, which The Washington Times is covering and the mainstream media ignoring, the place was “strewn with body parts” not unlike a “slaughterhouse.”

And before anyone from the pro-choice crowd gets in a tizzy for me calling fetuses “helpless, innocent, little babies” – which they still are to anybody using their brains and their consciences – this doctor performed over 100 abortion procedures…

On live babies.

According to various assistants who worked for him, one baby was “screaming” after being born alive despite a “regular” abortion attempt. Another one’s arm “jumped” when its neck was snipped.

Oh yeah… and Kermit Gosnell, who doesn’t at all deserve the Dr. in front of his name, also ended up killing one of his pregnant patients.

That alone should be sensational enough to warrant national and even international coverage. But add in additional charges of conspiracy, drug delivery resulting in death, corruption of minors, evidence tampering, theft by deception, abuse of corpses and corruption to the already stated crimes of infanticide and murder…

The mainstream media should be drooling!

But it isn’t. Far from it. And for obvious and disturbing reasons…

You see, Gosnell’s trial in Philadelphia isn’t just about one man. It’s about the larger practice and issue of abortion. Right now, the cherished beliefs of Pro-Choice supporters are being displayed in a very, very negative light. And abortionists are being made to look like evil, disgusting, depraved, satanic, greedy, selfish, abhorrent, vile creatures.

It’s the truth. Which is something that the Pro-Choice crowd just can’t handle.

Gun Control Hysteria: The New McCarthyism. And This Time It’s Real.

You know how liberals love throwing the term “McCarthyism” around whenever somebody starts accusing them of being bad people and doing bad things? (Which they are and they do.)

Well, it’s a completely – and purposely – misconstrued term, since Senator Joe McCarthy didn’t initiate any Red Scare and didn’t accuse anybody unduly. At the time, the government and Hollywood social circles really had been infiltrated by Soviet Spies.

It’s historically proven thanks to numerous government documents, from both sides of the Cold War. Imagine: Anti-American sentiment in Hollywood and other liberal circles!

So it would be much more apt to apply derogatory labels to today’s anti-Second Amendment pushers. The cry for gun control has become hysterical, especially in the government-controlled education system, where kids have been suspended for imitating the shape of guns with their fingers, for heaven’s sake.

And the ridiculousness doesn’t seem over yet. Not by a long shot.

The latest example of gun control insanity is the New York state case of John Mayer, whose 10-year-old son discussed bringing a water gun, a paintball gun and a BB gun – none of which he had access to – to his elementary school to ward off a group of bullies harassing his friends.

When the school principle found out about their discussion, he suspended Mayer’s son for two days and filed a police report. And the police responded by showing up at Mayer’s house and bullying him into relinquishing his $6,500 worth of firearms. All of which he keeps safely stored away from his son.

The authorities followed up this unconstitutional search and seizure by telling him that he could come collect his property. After his son turned eighteen.

Now don’t get me wrong, because I do understand why so many people are freaking out about guns these days. After the Tucson, Arizona shooting in 2011, the Aurora, Colorado movie theatre shooting in 2012 at a packed premiere of The Dark Knight Rising, and then the more recent and equally horrific Newtown, Connecticut shooting at the Sandy Hook Elementary School later on last year… people – and even the government – have every right to be cautious.

What they don’t have the right to be, however, is dictatorial, shoving their beliefs down law-abiding citizens’ throats in flagrant abuse of this country’s citizen-protecting legal foundation.

There is such thing as freedom of speech (a God-given right protected by the First Amendment), freedom of protection (a God-given right protected by the Second Amendment) and freedom against overreaching authorities (a God-given right protected by the Fourth Amendment).

Weakening or even destroying these freedoms is not going to keep anybody safe. This should be obvious, people.

The Trials of Being a Woman

Usually I love being a woman.

I like how I can process more than one concept at a time since my brain is much more akin to one big box instead of the sometimes detrimentally tidy male mind.

I enjoy the clothing choices I have in front of me and my fashion sense and the fact that I can talk about clothing and fashion sense without people automatically questioning my sexual orientation.

And yes, I do appreciate the power that being female automatically entails. Sometimes I envy men for the type of power they’re more apt to have, but overall I’d much rather have what I got.

Which is good, considering that I really don’t have a choice in the matter. And no offense to any fine gentleman reading this blog post. I sincerely hope you’re equally as happy with your lot in life.

But just like there are many enviable traits and abilities and perks of being a woman, there is also a depressingly noteworthy downside… like being automatically associated with the kind of nitwits described below.

As part of a trip to Germany, Russian President Vladimir Putin took a stroll through a Hanover trade fair with Chancellor Angela Merkel. Along the way, they were approached by three women with obscene messages directed at Putin written across their backs.

And absolutely nothing covering their fronts.

The topless women were supposedly members of a feminist group, cleverly named Femen, which is known for its topless protests against such things as – get this – the sex industry.

Because nothing says “Stop objectifying human beings!” or “Pay attention to what I’m saying!” like a publically-displayed naked body.

The fact is that Putin isn’t a good man. He’s dangerous and two-faced and even vile. So I guess I have to give the women credit for noticing the incredibly obvious.

But their way of showing what they thought of him was lacking in all intelligence, consideration or self-respect, turning women and the feminist cause into a ridiculous joke.

Personally, I think it would behoove women everywhere to let the men stick to taking off their shirts.

Instead of putting ourselves on display in all the wrong ways, how about we enjoy the view for once?
