Now We're Supplying Lawyers to Those Children Illegally Streaming in Through our Borders

“The Obama administration said Friday that it was starting a program to provide lawyers for children facing deportation as it scrambles to deal with the soaring number of unaccompanied minors illegally crossing the border from Mexico.”

That first paragraph alone should raise some serious red flags and sound off some screeching sirens. But I’ll quote the next paragraph too for anyone who isn’t completely up to speed on the situation, which involves South American parents sending their children across the border in hopes of gaining them free citizenship when our government passes whatever version of amnesty it’s working on these days…

“Under the plan, the federal government will issue $2 million in grants to enroll about 100 lawyers and paralegals to represent immigrant children making their way through the immigration court system.”

Let’s start out by noting that this problem was unexpected only to the morons in D.C., who live in a socialist fantasyland where nobody takes advantage of ill-conceived, (possibly) good-natured policies that forces one group (i.e. taxpayers) to give to another (i.e. people who have no business being in this country).

And let’s go on to acknowledge that only the morons in D.C. would then go this far in NOT solving the problem, by supplying “about $2 million in grants to enroll about 100 lawyers and paralegals” to assist these illegal aliens (hey, they might be cute little kiddies, but that doesn’t mean they belong in the U.S.) in staying here… without parental supervision… which will cost American taxpayers even more money in the long run.

And that’s not to mention how assisting this current illegal immigration will encourage even more South American parents – plus terrorists, drug dealers and other less desirable elements – to take advantage of our apparently open borders.

I'd say that this government of ours is utterly useless, but I don't have my rose-colored glasses on today.
