ISIS Tells Its Members to Be Nice When Raping Sex Slaves

I just read a bizarre story about ISIS, or the Islamic State, enacting laws to protect its sex slaves.

These sex slaves have been taken over the course of ISIS’ conquering rampage. They’ve seen their husbands and fathers and brothers murdered. They’ve been torn away from mothers and sisters and friends.

And then, they’re raped. Repeatedly. Sometimes it’s by one man they’re sold to. Sometimes it’s by multiple visitors to the brothels they’re sent to. But regardless, they’re being raped.

Not to be crass, but that’s kinda the definition of a sex slave. Forget all those idiotic fantasies about harem girls and bared bellies and willing seductions. Sex slaves exist to be raped.

So making laws about how they can be raped is just weird. And pointless. And illogical.

Yet that’s precisely what ISIS theologians have done. According to Reuters, the rules include banning fathers and sons from raping the same female slave, and men from raping both a mother and daughter. They have to choose one or the other. Also, anyone who shares a slave “are similarly enjoined from intercourse because she is viewed as ‘part of a joint ownership.’”

I don’t understand that last one at all, just for the record. Nor do I get the command to “show compassion towards [a sex slave], be kind to her, not humiliate her, and not assign her work she is unable to perform” or sell her to someone who will do any of those things.

In order to follow that last set of rules… THEY CAN’T HAVE SEX SLAVES AT ALL!!!!!!!!!

But somehow, someway, according to ISIS, it’s perfectly possible to have a sex slave and treat her with dignity. Sharia Law tells it so. (I’m not being funny here. That’s really its rationale.)

On the same level of stupidity is Professor Abdel Fattah Alawari, dean of Islamic Theology at Al-Azhar University, which Reuters describes as “a 1,000-year-old Egyptian center for Islamic learning.” Professor Alawari says that, from a religious perspective, ISIS is full of it.

According to him, “Islam preaches freedom to slaves, not slavery. Slavery was the status quo when Islam came around. Judaism, Christianity, Greek, Roman, and Persian civilizations all practiced it and took the females of their enemies as sex slaves. So Islam found this abhorrent practice and worked to gradually remove it.”

Since when, genius? Most of Mohammad’s however-many wives were obtained through wars, wars and more wars. And today, women are mutilated and sold like chattel as “wives” by Mohammad’s religious descendants to Mohammad’s religious descendants.

Nor is that the exception in many Islam-centered places. It’s normal!

It’s nothing short of delusional to claim otherwise.

Guns and the Background Scene I Saw Shooting House of Cards

They’re filming House of Cards at my office building this week. I haven’t watched the show in a while, since it got too offensive for me in Season 2, but I think I might have to watch the Season 3 finale just to see the first two floors of where I work featured on a Hollywood drama.

Then again, the last few days have been interesting enough on their own. I haven’t gotten so much as a glimpse of Robin Wright or Kevin Spacey, but I have seen dozens of crew members, including security personnel…

Who are armed. To the teeth.

Yesterday, I went for a walk with one of my coworkers, and when we came back, we were temporarily barred from entering the building because House of Cards was shooting a scene. That left Ali and I loitering in the basement foyer with seven big, burly guards.

Each had at least one sidearm on him, and there was an array of assault rifles lying close by like they were protecting the real president of the United States instead of a Hollywood fake.

At one point, the only non-armed individual in the room (other than Ali and I) leaned over to whisper at us, “There are a lot of guns in this room. Are you okay with that?”

My first reaction was to wave his concern away and verbally assure him I was fine, which I did. My second was an amused “Oh, sweetie, I’m good. I’m a Republican,” which I kept to myself.

If only he knew.

Truth is I’ve shot guns before. I’ve even fired a high-powered rifle like the ones laid out on the table. And I hit my target. On the first try. From a decent distance. I hit it the second time too.

Again, I’m a Republican. I have no fear of guns unless they’re in criminal hands (government or otherwise). But Hollywood isn’t Republican. Hollywood is about as far left Democrat as you can get. Hollywood is the epitome of closeminded liberal. And closeminded liberals hate guns.

So what in the world is Hollywood doing with so many of them?

Protecting itself, clearly. And being a giant hypocrite.

Like government, it wants the protection that firearms offer. For itself though. The rest of us don’t deserve Second-Amendment consideration.

We would if we were the president of the United States or played one on TV. But until we get a starring role on House of Cards, we’re apparently supposed to be afraid of guns… and give them over to the big boys.

The people who matter. Like Hollywood.

He Who Lives by the Obnoxious Dies by the Obnoxious

You know the Biblical saying, “He who lives by the sword dies by the sword?” Well, we’re seeing something very similar play out in today’s political scene.

Not that people are going around cutting each other to pieces in a physical sense. Unless they’re Muslim. Or Baltimorean.

It’s more they’re being absolute, inconsiderate, obnoxious jerks, and it’s breeding more of the same.

Now, this country is practically founded on political obnoxiousness, with patriotic mobs tarring and feathering anyone who supported King George III’s taxes. And even right after the Revolution, political parties took turns savaging each other in the papers whenever a vote was up for debate.

Going overboard with our “freedom of expression” is a longstanding American pastime. I can’t even say the quality of what’s being said has become more obnoxious over the last decade. It’s only the frequency that’s changed.

The liberal left has doubled – maybe even tripled – down on its rhetoric the last four presidential terms, disparaging George W. Bush and glorifying Barack Obama to kingdom come.

Bush kept quiet under that onslaught. Obama encouraged it. There have been very few, if any, public addresses where our current president hasn’t thrown in some barely hidden or downright blatant barb against his political opposition.

Since he gets a lot of facetime, that’s an overwhelming amount of obnoxiousness.

When you’re obnoxious so consistently, one of two things is going to happen: The opposition either ends up trying to lick your boots or kick your butt.

Donald Trump and his followers are an example of the latter.

There’s no way someone with Donald Trump’s level of obnoxiousness would be anywhere so popular unless people were retaliating against perceived or real obnoxiousness themselves. Right or wrong (and I think they’re wrong), his supporters feel as if they’ve been lambasted enough to justify being jerks to those who were (perceived or real) jerks to them.

The problem with that mentality is that it’s only going to breed a retaliation round by liberals, just like it backfired on them to begin with.

So conservatives, here’s the moral of the story: No matter how much fun it feels to give them a taste of their own medicine in the moment, it’s no way to usher in lasting change.

Not unless we want to end up dying by the obnoxious sword ourselves… and deserve it.

Coca-Cola Gets in Trouble for Its “White Savior” Christmas Ad

Coca-Cola has annoyed me for a while with its delusions of glory. The brand’s commercials are always so sanctimoniously stupid…

Drink a Coke and save the world!

Drink a Coke and spread good will to all!

Drink a Coke and fulfill your every longing in life!

They’re ridiculous on every single level, including from a health standpoint, since soda is anything but the best thing to put into your body.

Well, this holiday season, according to the liberal left, Coca-Cola finally went “too far” with its Kool-Aid-style propaganda. Which cracks me up, since the liberal left is what Coca-Cola is trying to impress with its hippie nonsense.

In what’s being called the “White Savior Ad,” the company pretended to care about Mexico’s indigenous people, of whom 81.6% feel like outsiders because they don’t speak Spanish. In order to supposedly make them feel better, a bunch of Coked-up white college students travel down to some indigenous-people-filled Mexican City to build them a giant monstrosity of a wooden and Coca-Cola-cap Christmas tree with a giant holiday sign in their own language.

This prompted me to ask…

How is putting an indigenous-language sign in an indigenous-people-filled village going to combat racism?

Why do those white college kids look like they’re high? Is this commercial promoting the original Coca-Cola?

How much original Coca-Cola does the company drink at its advertising meetings to think this will make me want to drink its product?

That’s what went through this conservative chick’s brain when she watched it. What went through liberal’s minds was more along the lines of whitewashed rage.

I guess that’s one way to have a white Christmas.

Under an onslaught of negative attention from angry white people who cover up their own racism by accusing others of it (and at least one indigenous Mexican lawyer), Coca-Cola apologized and pulled the ad.

For which I owe the angry, white liberal left a huge “thank you” for one less Coca-Cola commercial I have to watch.

Dear Men, Stop Acting Like Little Girls

Men aren't men these days. They're little girls.

No, I take that back. Little girls are cute. Which means men aren't little girls. They're teenage girls. The kind that complain about everything, since like, omg, their lives are sooooo difficult, but wow, like what do you think of my new top. Isn't it totes Gucci?

Yes, "Gucci" is what the cool kids are saying these days. As opposed to Wal-Mart. You apparently don't want to be Wal-Mart.

Why am I comparing men to that level of pathetic?

Because one of my male coworkers ordered a suit for the company Christmas party, had it delivered to the office, and then asked whether he should go try it on for us to ooh and ahh over him.

I'm. Not. Kidding.

I would have felt like an idiot asking my coworkers if I could model my party dress (which is totes Gucci, btw) for them. He should have too.

But he didn't. Because men aren't men these days.

In their defense, feminist culture has been telling them to act more like women for decades. Not in their defense, they should have stuck to being men, since they make really bad women.

I mean, some female characteristics can be annoying, but feminized men take them to a whole new level of obnoxious.

Guys, I’m sorry. It’s just not attractive when you take Yoga classes, get more offended than us about “women’s rights” and think you have a prayer of looking prettier than we do.

Please go back to wearing pants. You don’t have the legs for skirts anyway.

Is Terrorism the New Norm?

Terrorism is getting boring.

That’s a horrible thing to say after the terrorist attack in San Bernardino, California, yesterday. But that’s how I feel nonetheless. And I don’t think I’m alone.

If I was personally caught up in a terrorist attack, or if I knew someone wounded or killed in one, obviously, I would feel differently. Yet hearing about it happening to others, even Americans, doesn’t really phase me anymore.

It’s getting commonplace. Just like hearing how Baltimore’s murder rate keeps climbing every week doesn’t make me bat an eye anymore.

People are suffering, dying and devastated… but because I’ve somehow accepted that this is just the way things are, I feel next to nothing.

When I read about yesterday’s mass shooting, my first thought was a question: “Is it terrorism?” But there was no horror in the question. Only weariness, and barely even that.

When I saw the headlines guessing that it was terrorism, my first thought was “Go figure.” I think I might have grimaced.

And when all the articles started coming out that it was, in fact, terrorism – that the two suspects killed were 28-year-old Syed Rizwan Farook, a devout Muslim who recently took a trip to Saudi Arabia, and 27-year-old Tashfeen Malik, his wife of two years – I went back to my previous activities in an appallingly short amount of time.

Maybe two minutes. Maybe.

Whatever happened to the horror we felt during 9/11? Or the national outrage in 2004 when that American journalist – whose name I’ve apparently lost in the long list of terrorism victims – was beheaded on video? I felt sick to my stomach for days after that, and I didn’t even see the footage!

But that was a lifetime ago. These days, we hear about terrorists beheading people all the time, sometimes even in America, like at that Oklahoma food distribution center last year. American Military institutions get shot up by terrorists often enough, and everyone now kind-of expects our marathons to be bombed.

So 14 people dying and 17 more getting injured in a terrorist attack here at home barely feels newsworthy.

It’s a really bad commentary for our national security – and a bad sign for our national mindset –when American citizens can sigh and shrug and then go on about their lives like terrorism is the new norm.

My Latest Experience With an Obnoxious Conservative

I do a lot of complaining about how obnoxious liberals are. But the truth is that conservatives can be just as bad, and it isn’t any prettier when we are.

For example, my company published an article yesterday that had all of my liberal coworkers freaking out.

And I can’t really blame them for it.

The piece began by rightfully deriding Warren Buffett for being a big, fat hypocrite on tax policy, since he touts raising taxes but pays very little himself. But then, in the most unintelligible comparison ever, it went into defending Tiger Woods’ cheating habits.

If you’re confused, you’re not alone.

If the author had just left it at a single mention, it might not have been so offensive. Instead, he went on to tell men they couldn’t judge Woods because they’ve never been rich and famous with women throwing themselves at them. As for any female readers, he told them to pipe down too, since he’s never met a woman who could resist a plate of chocolate chip cookies.

I. Kid. You. Not.

I have no problem with generalizing women as liking the tasty treat. It’s more that eating cookies and cheating on one’s spouse is even less comparable than Warren Buffett and Tiger Woods. Meaning that we can chalk this author up to being both obnoxious and stupid.

And for what? I mean, seriously… Why?

Admittedly, some people are naturally unpleasant. Everyone has their personality flaws, and for some, it’s being a jerk. For others, it’s a tendency to gossip, lie or cheat.

But I think, more often than not, people develop obnoxious tendencies as a defense mechanism against other people who have been jerks to them.

For example, liberals feel judged by conservatives and end up lashing out as a means of justifying themselves. This goes on until conservatives sound like the minority and get snippy right back, offending the liberals, who retaliate by offending conservatives, who retaliate by…

It’s a vicious cycle.

It’s also obnoxious, not to mention ultimately worthless. It accomplishes nothing.

So stand up for your beliefs. Tell it how it is, and call out Warren Buffett for being a hypocrite.

Just do it with some dignity. Otherwise, conservative or liberal, you’re only harming yourselves.

What My Liberal Friends Don’t Want to Consider About the Syrian Refugee Crisis

A liberal friend of mine and I recently got into a discussion about the Syrian refugee crisis.

Normally, whenever my liberal friends bring up topics I know we’re going to disagree on, I keep my mouth shut. But with the Paris terror attacks still fresh in my mind, I told her what I really thought. That the United States shouldn’t be so quick to accept outsiders when:

·         That’s what got France into trouble in the first place.
·         We have a whole heck of a lot of humongous problems to deal with here at home before we can even think about helping anyone else.

As I spoke, I watched an almost tangible gate slide shut over my liberal friend’s face.

She wasn’t hearing a word I spoke. She didn’t want to hear a word I spoke. In her mind, whether she recognizes it or not, I’m a conservative Christian and therefore my opinions aren’t valid.

Sound harsh? It is. But it’s also true. That same evening, she also told me she firmly believes “Christians are responsible for the majority of the world’s atrocities throughout history.”

Again, this is right after the Paris terror attacks. Which were perpetuated by Muslims. As usual.

She went on to send me an immigration expert’s perspective on the refugee acceptance program, which explained how many more women and children are accepted than grown men, and how long of a process it is from start to finish.

There’s some truth to that. The typical acceptance program policies are pretty exclusive.

But there are loopholes when you have a powerful person on your side. Like President Obama, who has been very vocal about bringing over 10,000 Syrian refugees next year.

As for 2015, CNS News reports, “Since the Paris terror attacks on November 13, the State Department has admitted 132 Syrian refugees into the United States, and all 132 are Sunni Muslims.

“No Christian, Druze, Shi’ite, Alawite, or member of any other religious minority in Syria has been admitted over that period, according to data from the State Department Refugee Processing Center.”

Moreover, 72 – so well over half – of them are male. 39 of them are males 14-50.

Sorry to sound like a bigot (which my liberal friends automatically take me to be), but that’s 39 potential or realized terrorists brought over in less than a month.

Sound harsh? It is. But it’s also true. If you don’t believe me, just ask France.

Comparing Right-Wing Christians to Muslim Extremists

Sometimes political commentaries are so ridiculous that they’re really only offensive to the people who endorse them.

That might be particularly true about the political memes that fly around Facebook.

For example, I recently saw one comparing right-wing Christians to Muslim extremists. It listed six or eight characteristics that the two groups share or supposedly share, including being against homosexuality and abortion.

A category it didn’t list was the propensity to murder people who disagree with them.

Why didn’t it list it?

Because it can’t.

Aside from the Inquisition, the debatable Crusades and the random nutcase who goes shooting up abortion clinics, Christians don’t normally kill random people. Our religion was founded on a message of peace that was soon marked by persecution… i.e. other people killing us.

Have we behaved badly since then? Yeah, sometimes we do. In fact, sometimes we behave horribly. But since we’re comparing… compare their body count to the rest of the world with its Stalins, Hitlers and Kim Jong-whatevers.

When you do, you’ll find that we’re looking pretty good.

Need further proof of how disgustingly non-right-wing Christians can act? Consider the Hutus massacring the Tutsis in Rwanda, the Turks’ horrific vendetta against the Armenians, the Cambodian crisis in the 1970s, and the depravity that was (and still might be) China for decades.

None of those acts were done in Jesus Christ’s name.

Then there’s Islam, which, like communism, has a pretty revolting track record. Muslims’ religion got its start when a slighted Mohammed declared war on his former people for rejecting him as a prophet.

That seemed to set a precedent, since Muslims have done a whole lot of brutal conquering since then, from the land grabs that predated the Crusades to today’s mounting number of modern terrorist attacks.

So to compare Christians to Muslims is like comparing Wegmans to 7-Eleven. Yes, they’re both retailers that carry food and Advil. But Wegmans has a lot more to offer.

And it doesn’t cost nearly as much.

What This #FirstWorldProblems Writer Is So Very Thankful For This Year

I was joking yesterday with my coworkers about #FirstWorldProblems, as I was going to have to complete today’s to-do list on a small screen at home instead of my large monitor at work.

I didn’t think much of it at the time. But lying in bed this morning, ignoring my alarm clock and thinking about Designing America (my newest novel-in-the-making, of which I just finished the first draft this week), it hit me how significant my supposed silliness actually was.

You see, my next step since finishing my rough draft hasn’t been to edit. It’s been to go through my historical highlights and notes to make sure I’ve gotten key details and dates correct. And those highlights and notes, details and dates spell out a nearly overwhelming amount of pain.

The Revolutionary War was a miserable time period for those who had to live through it.

I mean absolutely horrific. The Brits were really quite rotten to the Americans.

That’s no offense to the British at large any more than it’s an approval of Americans at large. Any true student of history recognizes that there isn’t a perfect people out there. We’re all capable of committing atrocities, and we too often run with that potential.

Moreover, during the course of the Revolutionary War – as I flat-out state in Maiden America (the prequel to Designing America) – the Americans behaved pretty darn badly a time or two as well.

Yet with that all said, in my very detailed research, I never once came across a story of American soldiers ripping open pregnant women, or crowding thousands of prisoners of war onto ships to let them rot away for weeks or months under the most inhumane conditions, knowing full well they’d die. (Many went insane first.) Those brutalities fall squarely on the British back then.

For kicks and giggles, I watched The Patriot on Sunday; which, yes, is filled with historical inaccuracies. Considering how that movie and Designing America share the same bad guy, I found myself shaking my head and rolling my eyes over and over again.

But that wasn’t what stood out most to me. What stood out most were the battle scenes, where men’s heads were blown off. Their legs shattered. Their stomachs skewered by bayonets.

Because all of that? That really happened.

Even when that wasn’t going on, those soldiers starved more often than not. They got little to no pay. And after the war, they barely got a thanks from a citizenry that was too often thrilled to celebrate victories but apathetic or downright hostile about providing anything else.

Black and white, free and slave, young and old, rich and poor, male and female: Those “rebels” gave their time, their fortunes, their well-being, comfort and very lives…

The result is that I can laugh about #FirstWorldProblems.

For all of those sacrifices back then and my security today, I am truly grateful.

Western World Governments Welcome in ISIS

ISIS is out of control.

It’s officially threatened New York City now with a newly released video showing terrorists with guns and suicide belts amidst clips of Times Square and yellow taxis.

There’s also extreme concern being raised over four men involved in “suspicious activity” near the Pentagon. And eight Syrians were caught trying to illegally cross the Texas border.

That’s shocking. That they were caught, I mean. They must have been exceptionally incompetent in order to run right into border security who actually care about their stated jobs instead of President Obama’s destructive demands to look the other way.

Make no mistake: The fact that ISIS is out of control is Western world governments’ fault.

Forget all of those idiot liberal arguments about how badly we’ve treated the Middle East and Africa and every other non-white locale on the planet. Even if that was true – even if humans of all colors, creeds and nations didn’t have a miserable history of treating humans of all colors, creeds and nations badly – there would still be no excuse to retaliate the way ISIS is.

What I mean when I say that Western world governments are to blame for ISIS atrocities outside of Muslim strongholds is this: We’re doing nothing to stop it. Instead, we’re welcoming it into our societies under the guise of compassion and tolerance.

Europe has a much longer track record of doing this, hence the reason why Paris was such an easy target. The people who died in last week’s attacks shouldn’t be lying six-feet under. They should still be living their lives, untouched by such brutality as terrorist attacks.

They would be too if not for long-standing French immigration policy. Take it from National Review, which reported back in January after the Charlie Hebdo terrorist attack (yup, that was this year):

“The case of France is stark. Roughly 12 percent of its population is foreign-born, about the European average, according to the Migration Policy Institute. But it also has a particularly high percentage of descendants of immigrants. Because of France’s colonial history in Algeria and other countries in the Maghreb, many of them are Muslim.

“It has the largest Muslim population of any Western European country, both in absolute numbers and in percentage terms. These immigrants have tended to cluster in the suburbs of Paris, where they have become self-reinforcing religio-ethnic islands in the broader French sea.

“Some of the Paris suburbs are infamously known as “no go” zones, where there is essentially no official footprint. These areas are not just alienated from the French state; they are actively hostile to it.”

Want to doubt that? Consider this: Only about 30 French Muslims made a visible stand to protest this latest round of terrorism on French soil, as recorded by The Gateway Pundit.

How did this dangerous disconnect happen? Through past and continuing inexcusable levels of government incompetence. If our leaders would do their elected jobs to protect us instead of use our tax money for the most pointless projects ever, ISIS and other terrorists wouldn’t find their missions nearly so easy.

I’m not saying Western countries should close their borders altogether. I’m saying we should start paying a heck of a lot more attention to the larger world around us… and accept reality.

Council on American-Islamic Relations Sighs Over Having to Defend Itself Again

I went onto the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) website today after reading a myway article about how “US Muslims face backlash after Paris attacks.”

It reported alleged anti-Muslim hate crimes – including a shooting where nobody was actually shot – in over nine states. This prompted CAIR Spokesman Ibrahim Hooper to say, “The picture is getting increasingly bleak. There’s been an accumulation of anti-Islamic rhetoric in our lives and that, I think, has triggered these overt acts of violence and vandalism.”

Again, that was all in myway news, but it got me thinking about how I hadn’t heard a single word from CAIR or the Muslim community in general about the Paris attacks. Nonetheless, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and went straight to the source.

This is what the organization posted on November 14, 2015 with the caption, “CAIR’s Executive Director Nihad Awad Condemns Terror Attacks in Paris” and the description, “CAIR's Executive Director Nihad Awad condemns terror attacks in Paris and suggest ways the American Muslim community and all Americans should respond at a news conference organized by the US Council of Muslim Organizations (USCMO) in Washington, D.C.”

As of the morning of 11/18/2015, the five-minute and twenty-six-second clip was still the most or second-most prominent feature on the main page of CAIR.com.

Awad began the conference with one sentence on CAIR’s “thoughts and prayers with the victims of the ISIS attacks in France.” Then he went on to focus on how ISIS is predominantly targeting Muslims, how we can’t punish refugees by denying them access within our orders, and how ISIS isn’t Muslim anyway.

His mention of France was so brief that I completely missed it the first time.

In his defense, CAIR video editors spliced the video. Then again… CAIR video editors spliced the video. This is the message they wanted to convey.

They wanted the focus to be on how weary they are of being linked to heinous crimes.

Do you know what everyone else is tired of? Being victims of heinous crimes! Terrorist attacks and Muslim brutality are becoming the norm, for crying out loud. And while not all Muslims are terrorists, enough are – or at least support terrorists – for the rest of us to be rightfully wary.

How many cases of atrocities committed by proclaimed Muslims do we need before we get it?

I don’t feel bad for CAIR. Nor do I support its call to take in waves of refugees, when it was that kind of policy that made France such a hotspot for terrorism to begin with.

I am truly sorry for peaceful Muslims facing backlash. But I am more sorry for ISIS’ victims, who have been raped, tortured, maimed and murdered… all in the name of the Muslim god.

Why We Treat Our Fellow Humans So Horribly

Why do we treat our fellow humans so horribly?

That’s a question that’s on my mind as I work on a new novel, Designing America, which should be out next summer (It’s prequel, Maiden America is already available on Amazon.com). The story is historical fiction centered around the Siege of Yorktown, Virginia in 1781, a military maneuver that determined the American Revolution.

As with Maiden America, I did copious amounts of research before starting Designing America. Three months’ worth, actually. And some of the facts I discovered were extremely disturbing, including the two cases where pregnant women were mutilated and murdered with the blatantly stated intent of preventing any more “rebels” from entering the world.

Those were supposedly civilized men from the supposedly civilized world who stooped to such disgusting levels of barbarity. Sure, it was 234 years ago, but I’m pretty sure our daily crime reports show we haven’t changed at all in those centuries. We’re still capable of utter depravity.

I got a call from my brother last night after he watched a documentary about the rape epidemic on American college campuses. It was disturbing enough that he started crying at one point, and we ended up discussing the reasons behind it.

Regardless of how many reported rapes are real and how many are falsified, the source of the problem is the same: an absolute disrespect for human life. The same applies to ripping open pregnant women, incidentally.

In the case of British crimes against Americans way back when, they were conditioned to believe colonists’ lives didn’t matter. They had always been taught how superior they were and, when given the power to exercise that idea, some of them went mad with it.

In the case of rape, young men these days are conditioned to believe they don’t matter more than their sexual conquests. It’s all about sex, which means if they’re not getting sex, it’s all about nothing. That’s a pretty serious motivator to get sex then, right? Because nobody wants to feel like they’re nothing. They want value, and they’ll do whatever they can to achieve it, even debase themselves and others.

In the case of women who experience morning-after regrets and then cry rape, they’re conditioned to believe they don’t matter more than their level of desirability. If men find them sexy, they’re worth something. If men don’t, then they’re not. And since they can’t always be sexy – since they’re actually going to lose all sex appeal someday – they’re ultimately worthless.

Society today might not promote one group’s value over another like the Brits did to the Americans in the 18th century. What it does instead is tell everyone they’re worthless, and then step back and gape when they act it.

But it’s not going to change until we start accepting the value of human life.

What Went Right – and Wrong – With the Republican Presidential Debates

Once again, I didn't watch yesterday's Republican presidential debates, just like I didn't watch the one before that or the Democratic debates either. But for once, I wish I had. Because last night's performance seemed like quite the spectacle.

I'm not even talking about the media’s favorite villain, Donald Trump. I'm talking about all the candidates telling CNBC how it is.

This linked video collage is priceless, with Republicans flat-out refusing to answer groundless and unprofessional questions, demanding to know if the moderators even want to know their responses, and overall throwing CNBC’s attitude right back in its smug, lying face. To the cheers of the audience, might I add.

THAT is what Republican voters want to see: spines and a willingness to cry foul when a foul has obviously been made.

So in other words, NOT the GOP establishment.

According to the hypocritical CNN, which stopped just short of calling out CNBC for its obvious bias, “In the final minutes [of the debate]… angry representatives from the campaigns began confronting Republican National Committee officials to voice complaints about the tone and substance of the debate.

“When the faceoff was over, RNC Chairman Reince Priebus blasted CNBC for asking ‘gotcha’ questions and said the network ‘should be ashamed.’

“‘I was very disappointed in the moderators. I’m disappointed in CNBC,’ he told reporters in the spin room in Boulder, Colorado. ‘I thought they would bring forward a pretty fair forum here tonight. But I think it was one gotcha question, one personal low blow after another.’”

He’s “disappointed in the moderators? He “thought they would bring forward a pretty fair forum here tonight?”

What alternate universe is he living on!!!

The GOP establishment is pathetic, rolling over at the first sign that it’s not pleasing the mainstream media, which – newsflash – has an undeniable liberal bias and agenda.

Everybody knows that! Yet prominent Republicans for too long have refused to say it out loud… for fear of making the media hate them… when it already hates them.

That's stupid. That's why it can't win anything worthwhile. And that's why last night's Republican presidential debate was so right-on.

Let’s Bash Republicans Today

Let’s bash Republicans today. Because, hey, as a party, they’re no better than Democrats half the time. And they’re definitely no better than Democrats when it comes to spending.

Take the deal almost-not House Speaker John Boehner, a Republican, just cut with Democrat President Obama at half an hour shy of Tuesday morning.

The text of the budget bill is 144 pages long – never a good sign – and increases government spending by $50 billion this year and another $30 billion next year.

‘Cause that’s what we need. More money going toward our ne’er-do-well politicians.

Seriously, what have they done for us in the last eight years?

The country is in serious trouble economically, with a full half of American workers making less than $30,000 a year, which is probably why the Fed hasn’t hiked inflation rates in so very long. It knows the entire country could crumble if just one more straw is added to the proverbial camel’s back.

We’re already under severe pressure from a financial perspective.

From a societal standpoint, we seem to be doing even worse. You don’t have to look at Baltimore’s rising murder rate to know that. How about the South Carolina police officer videotaped body slamming a student in the classroom?

Forget whether the officer was wrong or not for a moment. As Sheriff Leon Lott (who “wanted to throw up” after watching the videos) put it, the student “disrupted class, she was disturbing the other students from getting an education” (not that they seemed to care much) and refused to listen to either the teacher or administration.

And that kind of blatant disrespect among young people isn’t anything new. If anything, it’s expected.

So if the money American citizens are already giving to the government isn’t going to strengthen our economy, keep our streets safe or train our children properly – and we know it isn’t to secure our borders or protect against terrorist threats – what is it going toward?

Only the politicians seem to know, and they’re fine keeping it that way. Boehner once pledged that he would give the public 72 hours to read over every bill that comes before Congress. Yet he’s pushing for a vote today, which gives well under 48.

Like I said, Republicans aren’t any better than Democrats these days.

And guess what? Like the bratty student in South Carolina, they ultimately don’t care.

Feminists Are Getting Burned by Their Own Power-Hungry Demands for “Equality”

According to her WordPress page, “Kaite Welsh is an author, critic and journalist in Scotland. Her fiction has featured in several anthologies and she writes a regular column on LGBT issues for the Daily Telegraph as well as making frequent appearances on BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour.”

In other words, she has some seriously misplaced focuses and beliefs.

However, even a broken clock is right twice a day (unless it’s digital, in which case, forget it), and so is the case with Kaite Welsh, who wrote, “Isn’t it often the way? You fight your way from the trenches to the throne, overthrow the corrupt regime and set about remaking the world in your own image, only to realize that you have become the thing you most despised.”

I’m not sure of the context she said it in. I’m assuming it had something to do with women’s issues or the LGBT community. It was certainly cited in an article that covered both topics in relation to Bruce Jenner and his alter ego, Caitlin Jenner, who is quite probably getting that nonsensical and insulting “Woman of the Year” recognition from Glamour Magazine.

Kaite Welsh’s disillusioned statement definitely applies to a situation where feminists are getting burned by the very politically correct environment they’ve been militantly pushing for so long.

But at the risk of getting too introspective, it applies to just about every other aspect of society right now. Like African Americans demanding specialized treatment, only to suffer significantly for those privileges. Like illegal immigrants forcing their way through borders for a better life, making it more difficult for everyone, including themselves, as they do. Or like gaining sexual “freedom” and receiving every other kind of repression in exchange (e.g. STDs, unwanted pregnancies, shame, guilt, depression, the meds necessary to treat depression, etc., etc., etc.).

And conservatives, don’t get all smug just yet. We’re not immune to the abuse of power. Look back to the founding of this country, where the Puritans mistreated people with different religious views despite how they’d been persecuted when they weren’t in charge. Or, today, how many in our ranks support Trump for the sole reason that he says nasty things to the opposition.

If you think we wouldn’t create just as much of a hostile environment as the liberals are now if we had the means, then you’re just as self-deceived as Kaite Welsh is most of the time.

Humans in general aren’t noble enough to handle ultimate power. We’ve proved that too many times now to count.

So why we’re so willing to do so again is beyond me.

Maybe we’re just incompetent all-around.

And the Woman of the Year Award Goes to… a Man?

What’s the most important quality the mainstream media looks for in its “Woman of the Year” candidates?

That’s what it takes to be an admirable female… a fake female.

As political reporter and commentator Nicole Russell put it, this is an endorsement of “the idea that men are better at being women than we are.” And it’s not the first time it’s happened. As she reminds us, it wasn’t that long ago New York Magazine declared transgender Martine Rothblatt “the highest-paid female CEO” in the U.S.

Doesn’t say much for feminism today when a real woman can’t even win a competition meant exclusively for women.

Personally, I don’t see how feminism has made any meaningful strides in decades. Not when young women are taught how to talk the talk, spouting platitudes about female empowerment while doing the very opposite in desperately seeking to meet men’s supposed sexual fantasies in order to feel better about themselves.

I mean, come on. We’re portrayed horrendously in movies, music and other artistic outlets. Even when they’re promoting girl-power, they still make sure it’s dressed up in unrealistically sexy packages. Take Avengers’ heroine Black Widow, who can take just about anyone in a fight… clad in skin-tight black leather that shows off every curve and crevice she has.

In politics, we have women like Nancy Pelosi, who say that having the right to kill your unborn baby is the epitome of feminism. And in the news are a too-often steady stream of women who lie about getting raped to punish the guys they willingly slept with.

I suppose with so many public profile women – from BeyoncĂ© to Hillary Clinton – acting so utterly uninspiring these days, it’s no wonder the always screwed-up mainstream media has to go outside the actual gender pool to tout feminism.

It’s that pathetic. And apparently, ladies, so are we.

Last Night’s Democrat Debate

Right now, I’m trying to work up the energy to read about last night’s Democrat debates, since that’s what informed people do. They get facts before forming an opinion.

Yet intelligent people know the definition of insanity is doing the same thing on repeat and expecting different results. Which means, really, it’s a waste of time to entertain even the tiniest sliver of hope that:

·         Hillary Clinton might care about someone other than herself despite her history of being one of the biggest narcissists on the planet
·         Bernie Sanders could be the first socialist that actually gets it right instead of leading his nation into abject poverty and societal destruction
·         Martin O’Malley can strengthen America as future president of The United States after he was worse than useless as mayor of Baltimore City and governor of Maryland
·         The other two guys (who I’ve incidentally never heard of before), could be the first Democrat presidential candidates to be worth listening to

Put like that, forget paying attention to the Democrat debates. I have better things to do with my life.

Amy Schumer Hosts SNL to Laugh at Guns and The U.S. Constitution

In the liberal world, SNL is supposed to be funny, right? I mean, it’s a bunch of comics doing skits on various issues to make people laugh.

(Like I said, in the liberal world. Not in reality.)

And in the liberal world, guns are horrible, right? After all, they kill people, like at that movie theatre that was playing Amy Schumer’s Trainwreck. Who then took to Capitol Hill with her cousin Senator Chuck Schumer to decry how horrible guns are.

Now, Amy Schumer is a comedian in the liberal world. To get an appreciation for her style of humor, understand that she successfully pushed Comedy Central to not bleep out the word “pussy” anymore. Which was great for her devotees since that’s pretty much the punchline of all her jokes.

So anyway, Amy Schumer goes on SNL and does a skit about guns that’s supposed to make people laugh. (You know this because of the pre-recorded laughs during the compiled skit.)

It shows a girlfriend waiting for a boyfriend at a restaurant, a woman jogging, a mother going into labor and other such idyllic scenes, then incorporates guns into each in contrived ways that’s supposed to make the audience chuckle and shake their heads over how stupid conservatives and the United States Constitution are.

But if guns are such a serious issue – if they’re the main reason lives are being destroyed – and if Amy Schumer is so broken up about what happened at the movie theatre showing her movie, then why in the world are we supposed to laugh about it?

I mean, in the real world, good people don’t make jokes about murder. You’d never see conservatives making skits about abortion complete with punchlines and scripted guffaws.

“And then the baby gets its skin burned off with chemicals or gets ripped into tiny pieces while it’s still alive. Hysterical!”

Not funny, right?

Neither is SNL. Or its efforts to destroy the freedoms our Founding Fathers fought and suffered to give us.

So You Want to Be a Hollywood Star, Huh?

I will never understand why anyone wants to be a Hollywood star when Hollywood stars seem like the most messed-up, lonely people on the planet.

There’s a new “exclusive” by the UK’s Daily Mail, an interview of Chelsea O’Donnell, Rosie O’Donnell’s 18-year-old daughter. In it, she apparently accuses her mother of being an absolute phony who conducts herself much differently in public than at home, who smokes weed like a college student, kicked her daughter out of the house not a year ago, and was an all-around absent mother.

I’m not reading the whole article. You can if you want to. But for me, it’s not news to hear that Rosie O’Donnell is desperately unhappy. It’s not news to hear that any of the Hollywood crowd is desperately unhappy, including Jim Carrey’s ex-girlfriend, who recently committed suicide.

Speaking of her, let me go off on a little rant hear…

That woman has more value than her severed dating connection with Jim Carrey. I can’t stand seeing her referred to as “Jim Carrey’s ex” over and over again as if that claim to fame is what makes her matter. How about the fact that she was somebody’s wife? How about the fact that she was somebody’s family? How about the fact that she was human?

The media is disgusting. Okay. Moving on.

Or should I? Because the media is part and parcel with Hollywood these days. They’re incestual, hob-knobbing and sharing each other’s spotlights, the press stumbling over themselves for 60-second appearances in movies and starlets racking up as many news and talk show spots as possible.

They’re all utterly desperate to be relevant, and in order to be that, they try to ignore reality, either by smiling at the cameras when they really want to cry from overwhelming loneliness, or going home to do drugs.

You think these people don’t stare in the mirror when they wake up, looking at their unpainted selves and wondering how their lives became so messed up? How they remain so unfulfilled despite their million-dollar homes and exotic vacations and pricy wardrobes and “cool” friends?

If you think I’m wrong, go ahead and try to become the next big Hollywood star. But for me, I’d much rather have anonymity and even my day-to-day financial annoyances.

Because, hey, at least I know I have value apart from how many people know my name.

Baltimore City Politicians Get Nine-Year-Old Girl Shot

Where can you find criminals so stupid they miss the four men they’re aiming at and instead hit a nine-year-old girl?

Why, that’d be Baltimore. Of course. The same place where Freddie Gray threw himself around the back of a police van in order to claim police brutality but accidentally killed himself instead.

Morons. Disgusting, pathetic morons.

The little girl was rushed to the hospital with a broken femur. So she’s alive and expected to recover. But that’s not the point. The point is that a nine-year-old was shot after 33 other children were shot this year in this city, some of them fatally.

Now, you could argue that most of those children weren’t the intended targets. They were just at the wrong time and the wrong place during the wrong year.

Or maybe just the wrong city.

Last month, Fox News reports that murders were up 39% over September 2014 and non-fatal shootings nearly doubled. But before you gasp in shock and horror (Or shake your head in disgust. This is Baltimore, after all. What do you expect?), that was a good month. For the entire three quarters of 2015, murders are up 52% and non-fatal shootings are up 80%.

Why? Well, as Baltimore police spokesman T.J. Smith said, “We have highly motivated bad guys” here.

If he meant the Baltimore City government, then I couldn’t agree more. That establishment is very motivated to stay the sheltered, illogical, harmful bunch of morons it’s been for decades. It hasn’t cared about the people in so long that the people don’t care about it either. They’ll do whatever they want to do whenever they want to do it just as long as they think they can get away with it.

So when Baltimore tells Baltimore to go knock itself out, as Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake did after Freddie Gray’s death… and when her fellow officials champion that attitude, applauding as the six cops tied to Freddie Gray on the day of his death are put on trial…

What do you think is going to happen?

Nine-year-olds are going to get shot. Of course.

And it’s all Baltimore City politicians’ fault.
