The New York Times, Jan. 28, 2015: “Administration Official Criticizes Israeli Ambassador Over Netanyahu Visit:”
“WASHINGTON – The Obama administration, after days of mounting tension, signaled on Wednesday how angry it is with Israel that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu accepted Republican leaders’ invitation to address Congress on Iran without consulting the White House.
“The outrage the episode has incited within President Obama’s inner circle became clear in unusually sharp criticism by a senior administration official who said that the Israeli ambassador, Ron Dermer, who helped orchestrate the invitation, had repeatedly placed Mr. Netanyahu’s political fortunes above the relationship between Israel and the United States.”
We break here for a Words From the Right Editor’s Note: What “relationship between Israel and the United States?” Seriously, Obama has been a jerk to Netanyahu since nearly Day One of his administration, going so far as to refuse to see him on more than one occasion. How much worse can it get? What is either party gonna do: start dropping bombs on each other?
Now back to your scheduled stupidity…
“The official who made the comments to The New York Times would not be named, and the White House declined to comment. The remarks were the latest fallout after Mr. Derner, without the White House’s knowledge, worked with House Speaker John A. Boehner to arrange the speech, which is scheduled for March.
“The remarks are likely to escalate a feud between the White House, Republicans on Capitol Hill and Mr. Netanyahu over the invitation, which has led to a new low in American-Israeli relations and threatened to mar the long tradition of bipartisan support for Israel in Congress.”
We break again for a Words From the Right Editor’s Note: ROFL!!!! And for a second time… So what?
As with Israel and Netanyahu, Obama has been a royal brat to Republicans from Day One. He’s already called them “the enemy,” insinuated and flat-out accused them of being racist every time they disagree with him, essentially told them to shut up in State of the Union addresses, not consulted them on game-changing policy after game-changing policy, and tried to ban “their” newscasters (i.e. Fox News) from White House events.
The only way this partisan nastiness can ramp up any more than it already has is if Obama starts sicking snipers on John Boehner and his lot.
With that said, I can only take so much New York Times in one sitting. If you want to read the rest of the article, the link is embedded in the aforementioned title. Knock yourself out…
If you’re anything like me, you’ll probably want to after you finish it anyway.
